Vaulting kinda sucks?
I don't know if it's just me but as a solo q enjoyer (not really), I've found ever since the general killer buffs a while back, and the weird vault changes a few months ago, every vault apart from super safe god windows feels non existent, and even getting any distance in a loop feels impossible, like I have to drop a pallet immediately or get hit.
Am I just a malding low skill player?

you arent wrong, the game leans killer sided nowadays in most aspects of the game outside of swf.

No they're pretty bad. But you need to accept that they're bad by design.
They don't want vaults to be too strong because they don't expire and are usable multiple times in a chase.
I think they made them overly clunky personally. I think a compromise would be lowering the amount of times a window can be vaulted to two and extend the lockout timer. But bring back the pre bug fix ones

I find there's a lot of seemingly unfair plays with vaults and stuns at the moment. Window vaults still getting a hit I can cope with, but getting hit when I'm on the far side of a pallet vault or through a pallet stun is absolute BS.

Vaulting is dogwater from my experience.
I vault and die 20 feet from the window, like I said in another thread, I've a large following on Twitter and I just post videos of it. They all laugh and are like yeah why.
No one wants to come play a game where this is a thing.

Vaults are in a weird place right now. The devs say theyโre still working on them.

I must say I lost track of where we are with the vaults now. Are they back to how they used to be or are they still shorter than normal or were they buffed again?
I saw some survivor youtuber (I think it was Ayrun?) claim they were buffed after that whole thing with the bugged vaults but I'm honestly not sure.
I personally don't feel much of a difference. It feels pretty much like it always does. Good ping on both sides = save vaults. Bad ping on either side = I get hit all the way from Uzbekistan.

I started use Resilience again because without it, vaults are guaranteed hits. Especially when killer have garbage ping.

Vaults are back to where they were before the last glitch. Medium and fast vaults are the same as in they provide the same speed and distance. Slow vaults are unchanged. Female survivors no longer have the bug that made their vaults really bad. Male survivors no longer have the bug that made theirs really good. BHVR is apparently looking into the bug that makes medium and fast faults functionally the same which is why vaults were โchangedโ to begin with.

They had to reset vaults to pre-6.1 because apparently they couldnโt untangle their code to fix it otherwise. Better theyโre in a glitched yet โacceptableโ state than extremely broken.

vaults arent meant to be very strong, thats why their unlimited and have 0 cooldown.

Tbf they are limited at loops, where they count. A window blocks after 3.

Mad because your skill issue dictates your frustration towards killers to where you want more hand holding.

vaulting does not lean killer sided, you can use structures extremely well just like every other good survivor player

Thatโs not true. Lol. Killer ping actually determines if a hit lands at any vault junction. The devs has said this a few times. Itโs a well-known fact.

lean killer sided = balance persp. vaulting is very strong UNLESS ping is awful, then yes, the server favors the killer.
i don't know about you but my ping is about 30 on average.

i mean sure, some hitboxes are painfully unclear. but if you get a BS hit after using a window/window setup for 20+ seconds minimum, that's pretty good.
TL, both forms of JG, new ormond tiles, new window tiles in general have a great window setups, main buildings. there are so many very useful options which is a good thing.

hits favor the killer. Interrupts (like being grabbed off a gen) favor the survivor.
