I mean these guys go down in 5 seconds, waste pallets, can't even loop properly and then have the audacity to say the killer is bad. And here i am just shaking my head and getting mad because like "Why are you even at rank 1, if you can't even loop a killer for more than a couple seconds?
Like, what did you hack and change your rank? Were you boosted up by SWF? or did you just suddenly decided to play like a rank 20?
I think all those answers exist.
But i'd wager your 2nd guess is the most applicable.

It's bcuz it is SUPER easy to pip. Even easier to safety pip. I have safety piped on 4700 bp.
It's easy to reach rank 1 cause ranking up takes little skill. That's why matchmaking is such a joke
Its harder not to rank up with the emblem system.
No need to hack rank, you automatically will reach rank 1 by playing DBD. In fact, you need to become active NOT to become rank 1, thats how bad it is currently
you simply gain rank by playing a lot. everyone who puts some time ito this game will get to rank 1, weather he actually belongs to the top players or not.
there is a huge difference in rank 1 players. some go down within seconds and some just loop the hell out of the killer.
some crouch behind a tree, doing pretty much nothing while some are rushing the gens like crazy.
some continuously follow the killer, trying to annoy him and then get extremely salty if they actually lose and some are so afraid of the killer, that they will hop insode a locker whenever the heartbeat starts.

So basically to safe unhooks and UE around the map, makes sense. still doesn't answer the question why these people can't loop the killer for ######### and end up going down when not a single gen has been done, or when they are wasting pallet after pallet, not trying to prolong the chase and conserve the pallet.
Well, i for example downt care about looping, because its even more boring than gen simulator.
So i dont. First, i try not to be found, and if i am, i try to juke the killer. For some it works, for others it don´t.
And this is another reason to fix Rank System
Fix the rank system? surely not, the "Rank System" is perfectly fine is it not.
So let me get this straight, you think, that being chased by the killer is boring. If that is the case then why are you playing the game? Repairing gens is boring, literally the only fun thing in this game is getting chased.
If all you do is just sit on gens and crouch around and play stealthily, then i am sorry dude but that is a pretty boring playstyle.
To clarify, chases are ok, but just running in circles around some objects is not.
And if you read my text, you see i was refering to looping, not to chases. But even then, i tend to avoid them. Hide and seek is my favorite part of the game.
Also, it is something different to lose the killer in a chase to just waste as much of his time as possible.
Rank 1's are insanely bad, I've noticed, you get challenging games at rank reset.
The easiest way to pip up is with SWF. You can also pip up pretty quickly in solo if you do a bit of everything in a game.
Which reminds me, rank is still broken in the end. I was playing as a rank 10 a few days ago and I had teammates in purple and red rank. Along with the beige rank which is 15+ and above.
It’s ridiculous. Perhaps the usual SWF ended up playing in solo and got destroyed immediately without someone there to hold their hand lmao.

Yikes, so you like to drag your but across the floor and just do gens and get out. Yuck.
Crouching around the map and hiding (in lockers) while your other teammates get chased and fix generators and then rush to the hook to get altruism points and nothing revolves around skill for those type of players. But then when they get caught, they have absolutely no idea how to efficiently waste a killer's time.
Well, i do gens just like everyone else, where do you have the idea from that i don´t? I cleanse every totem i come across (and still get downed by noed, because noone else does), and i do unhooks. But i try do do save ones, not while the killer is standing there looking at you.
I wonder why you think running in circles is fun...you dont even need a killer for that, you can do it all alone.
I am a rank 1 aswell, they are definitely carried by friends

It’s ridiculously easy to get to rank 1 if your play enough hours no matter how bad you are. It’s ridiculously difficult to depip, meaning most people safety pip or pip. So they slowly rank up. To depip you basically need to be found first and tunnelled/mori’d out of the match as just doing a gen, healing and maybe a save will safety pip. I’ve pipped in a match where I got to touch a gen for 10 secs and no gens were finished before we all died. Why? Because the Pig (on The Game) got everyone down so fast I was doing most of the unhooks, I ran the killer for the longest (while the others were looking for ruin because they couldn’t do gens with it still up) and picked up the slugs. In the end the killer finally managed to slug me after 2 were dead and found and downed the last person pretty quickly. I got 10k points for that much, almost double any of the other survivors. Rank 1 solo match >.<
Bruh playing Rank 8 at Rank Reset is worse than playing Rank 1. Most SWF play to get back to Rank 1 then don't play for the rest of the month LOL
I loop very rarely and I waste pallets. Looping is most times boring and annoying. There are more like enough pallets on the maps, I think I have rarely seen a game where every pallet is really gone. It is more interesting to try to shake off the killer somehow. :P
And yet I often get my 15-20k points at the end and I'm always rank 1. I play solo and swf ... it makes no difference.
The only big difference I notice when playing solo at Rank 1 is that ~50% of the people disconnect after the first down or suicide on hook for no reason. Much more annoying. In this case, swf is much better because your friends do not just run away just because they do not feel like it.
That is an issue of the matchmaking system
