Cross progression coming soon or never?
I’m tired of waiting. I have 3.9k hours on console and spend a lot of money on my survivor mains and I don’t wanna start all over again on my PC. So can we get an update on whether it’s gonna happen anytime soon or just never? That way we can make things clear. Really ridiculous that console players have to pay 72 euros or dollars to play online while pc gamers can play everything for free

Probably never. I‘m just honest. The reason behavior gave us; is that Sony and Microsoft are money hungry and won‘t give people their account to other platforms to keep you spending your money on their platform! Fortnite even needed to pay for potential losses to get cross Progression and maybe still has to.

In a recent survey they asked if people would be interested in cross-progression, with the catch being that DLCs bought through Xbox/PlayStation/etc. stores wouldn't transfer. I already knew the reason was because the platforms didn't want people getting DLCs that were bought elsewhere, but it's nice to see official confirmation.

They literally said you shouldn’t expect it as they can’t they if it will ever come

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if they backed down again when they realized that long term they would lose money from the person switching platforms. I feel like most people would be okay with rebuying DLC so I am not sure why else it would be taking this long if that isn't the case you know?

We don’t actually know what’s the reason.
I mean, it’s pretty safe to assume it’s about money and Sony/Microsoft can’t get to an agreement with BHVR - but that’s still an assumption and it would be on both sides to some degree.
instead of blaming anyone, the community could also start to, idk, don’t blame but instead express their disappointment/frustration in a constructive way?

Swap to PC now, its been in the cards for years and hasn't happened

I'd love to switch to PC, but after 4K hours and tons of money spent on my PSN account, there's essentially 0% chance I'm committing to PC without substantial cross progression (all my characters/level progress at a minimum). I felt that way at 1K hours.
But it'll probably never happen, and I think people would be wise to plan accordingly.

I already have some progress on my Steam account and got the perks I always use on my PS account. Just sucks I won’t have my RE survivors and lots of other survivors 😭
