This was the most toxic player I met.:(
I was the Clown and 2 escaped and I hooked 2 of em so 2 and 2 xd. But this one survivor that I got on the hook was sooo salty it was not even funny. After him and another survivor died to the hook one of em was raging sooo bad I ended up reporting him for giving me hate speach. I can't even say the stuff he said to me. It was soooo bad. So after I reported him for hate speech. I said this to him lol lol lol lol get gud xd and you got reported lol. Then I left chat. Also what was your favorite raged you encountered?

Also what was your favorite time when you got raged at for no reason at all?

Also I almost forgot another survivor reported him too yay!!!!!!

Thats salty survivor for you! And not really shocking to see on this game either.
But once a upon a time, when I played DBD on PS4, I was playing hag and was defending my totems REALLY HARD, because the survivors just wouldn't let one totem go ( I was defending it because I was worried it was Devour Hope BTW) so I hooked this Claudette in the process. Long-story-short they got the totem which ended up being Thrill Of The Hunt, so yay! But when that Claudette died, they sent me a message that read, "Tryhard. #########" and I was kinda shocked to sat the least, and kinda found it funny. Then agin it was a Claudette so....

Ikr I had some fun with him after and before he could type I left the chat lol

I hate the fact that hate-speech is a bannable offense in so many games and companies. Like they are supposed to make us feel cozy, clean, and safe. Trying to shelter us. I hate it. This game is rated M. Let us be adults. Adults are supposed to know how to handle hateful words.
That being said, yeah ######### that survivor. I hope they got tunneled hard in their next match.

I agree

True like I understand if it's like homophobic, sexist, or racist, but still, this is a game for teens and up so IDK why they censor us for saying some things when it's not even supposed to be hate-speech. 🤔

I hate that people try to defend hate speech as if it's something that normal people engage in and that other people should have to deal with.

I once left my boyfriend to die in a very hard but fun game and he got so mad he didn’t kiss me goodnight that day :/
0 -
Your BF needs to learn what a game is. If my BF did that to me, I'd definitely expect an apology the following day.
0 -
Yep I agree with all of this. If you were in that game when I was killer then you will see what this guy said to me. The one word that hurted me the most was when he said I hope your mom dies:( like really did he really have to say that comment that hurts my feelings. Like if they don't have anything nice to say just dont say anything but they don't care who's feelings they hurt. Also he drop f bombs at me like a lot of em.
Also I hope he gets banned.

Why would you let him die?
0 -
Played as trapper on PS4. Guy kept running into traps as I put them in not the usual places, so not at every window etc. He added everyone to a PSN message and raged that I need to LTP and git gud and don't put traps in dumb places....
From the guy who kept getting trapped....and died.
Think I got 4k on that match, the other 3 laughed and called him out till he stopped replying. Apparentley I was meant to put traps were who knew they would be...
1 -
Don't let that scare you nothing will happen :)
0 -
Hahahaha lol:) some players just like to think they can tell the killer what he can and not do xd
0 -
I admire Trappers who can find original spots to trap survivors. Nowadays it seems most people check the usual places when its a Trapper match. Shack window, at pallets etc.

Because I’m mean
1 -
Haha he had reasons to, because I kept giving him away to the killer and then ran to him when he was hooked and left. But yeah, he said he was sorry for getting mad... but his angry face was so much fun xD
2 -
This is supposed to be a mature rated game, but when I see people complaining about [BAD WORD]s I can't but but wonder what the actual age range for this game is
I'm very sorry but you need to get a thicker skin. hoping your mother dies is one thing but "F-bombs" shouldn't upset people so easily
1 -
i like it when people are mad at a safe distance.
2 -
Ik it's not the f bombs it's the fact he said hope 6 our mom dies that's what gets me angry
0 -
It's the fac he said hope your mom dis that's what gets me angry
0 -
I’m sorry about the crappy survivor community, pay no mind to them. A lot of them would rather rage at a killer than learn to get better. Anyways I appreciate you! We need our killer base, so GG :)

You should have to deal with it. Like an adult. In the real world, if someone is racist or homophobic, they get called out for it. Trying to hush it just makes cliques form and makes them feel like their hate is justified. Instead, mock the piss out of them. Make fun of them and point out how stupid they are. That is how you defeat zealots. That is why zealots try to shut down opposing viewpoints.
Btw, there is a difference between defending hate-speech and finding the concept of sheltering adults to be patronizing. I don't need a video game to defend my feelings for me.

I had a similar situation but I was playing Doctor, and this guy called me a hacker because he died, another guy (not even one who died) was also mad at me for some reason, the other two were just laughing at the salty ones and said gg so I guess it worked out in the end

Bisexual.
1 -
Just report them, no room for angry salty kiddos.
0 -
This is a game, it's not a life lesson. People play this to relax; not to have to deal with #########.
1 -
If people want to escape #########, I can recommend a myriad of single-player games. DbD is a frustrating game. I don't think anyone would disagree with me there. If you're going to go so far as trying to protect us from having people say mean uncalled for things, why not just remove end-game chat entirely?
0 -
Just gonna leave this here
1 -
Hate speech is not the only type of speech one can engage in. That's why the chat is there, for normal people to use it in normal speech.
0 -
Yep. Psn has that happen too. However there is a nice feature called "block."
0 -
Same with Xbox, but I punished them for exploiting, good times
1 -
Obviously. And normal people can handle toxic people. It is a small minority of people who don't know how to disregard hateful or bigoted people. And usually that small minority of people is a perfect example of the maturity crisis plaguing my generation.
Toxic people exist. No reason to try and sweep them under the rug and pretend they aren't there. I would understand banning them for threats, like "I'm gonna find out where you live," but saying something anti-semitic is now on the same level? What kind of immature person doesn't know how to say "You're an idiot. Bye."
Do you remember the number 1 rule of the internet? DNE

I can't help but feel like this is not a game to play and relax on. At least not on the killer side.
I'll relax with my friend on survivor and have a good time but that's the only time I feel this game can be relaxing .
1 -
Sweeping them under the rug (pretend they don't exist) is exactly what you want people to do. Reporting and banning them is actively dealing with them, and it's exactly what's being done.
0 -
Pretend a problem doesn't exist and it goes away? Ok. What will you do if you ever encounter one of these people irl and haven't learned the social skills to tell them off so they leave you alone? You can't ban people in person or hide behind anyone's coattails. If you play an online game, you are playing it with real people. Some real people are dicks. If you don't want to deal with dicks, don't play on the internet.

This is the reason why I wish console had end game chat. It would make reporting them easier because it's all in one place.
The only reason I keep my messages open is to report those less desirables to psn and hopefully get them a ban.
It's also nice to meet the few kind survivors on there as well.
1 -
Pretending they don't exist is what you want people to do. I deal with them by reporting them, and their actions get them banned. Thus, the game becomes just a little less toxic, and a little more enjoyable. It's like picking up trash on the beach, except the trash has to pay to get back on the beach.
IRL, I have different means of dealing with them. Let's leave it at that.
Again, this is a game. According to your own words, a game for adults. So why do you believe adults will be developing social skills from a game?
1 -
I think adults who don't know how to shut down a bully have no place in an M rated game. They should already have the skillset to talk back or simply not engage without daddy stepping in to protect them.
0 -
In other words, engage in toxicity themselves (thereby worsening the problem) or ignore them (thereby sweeping it under the rug). I'd rather get them off the game any way I can and neither be part of the problem nor ignore the problem, thanks.
0 -
Thx:)
1 -
Hahaha haha lol:) anyways good luck in your future games:)
0 -
It is not toxic to tell a bully to shut their mouth and it is not toxic to reply to only survivors who say things you want to reply to.
And @jackkn12 yes, the majority of the community doesn't bear you any ill will at all. We love having more players, and people who have no intention of being part of the community shouldn't get you down. Love all around :)
0 -
Sometimes when I might get raged at. I say gg and leave chat other times if they rage first I just leave the chat no gg.
1 -
Thx:) they won't stop me for having fun:)
1 -
Oh I see. Surprising.
0 -
Pretty sure a bully would find that statement hilarious, but OK. Reporting is still the best way to go because it actually gets rid of them.
How come?
0 -
Why should we get rid of them? Give me one good reason outside of "they make people uncomfortable" and I will concede.
