About new Billy
Just played my first game as him and... he feels REALLY strong. Tossed on the turning addons and not a single gen got done. It probably has to do with the fact that I haven't played many matches as Billy so my MMR is low, but if even I can do that... experienced Billys are gonna be scary.

The reason is people are still playing against him like old Billy. So they will learn and matches will turn to normal.
Billy is strong for sure but he is not busted and that's good.

He feels alot easier now. You dont bump stuff as much. I haven't mastered Billy either, but I'm still finding this quite enjoyable, even on console. I'm just glad I lvled him abit so I have a full loadout ready for him now.

Oh for sure! Played the PTB for 4 days and I went against nothing but Blights and Hillbillys (guess not many people care bout Sadako or I just got unlucky). Hillbilly is crazy good right now, especially in experienced player's hands. Some of the curves I got hit with...were insane. To the point I commended and gave props at the end-game lobby to the killer. Some of the curves were so quick b/c of the overdrive on certain tiles, that even standing next to a pallet, ready to drop..was not safe.
People are in for a big surprise who didn't get to see him on the PTB. Easily A tier IMO now.

hes very good on console honestly i think one of the best dash killers on there since he has a lot more catchup and no real drawbacks. honestly glad i grinded so hard on getting all his addons up and prestiging him a lot.

You really dont... I haven't had many games with him at all, and my first game playing NEW Billy was a 4k at 5 gens. This isn't like with Nurse how you can assume to be stomped for awhile. He's pretty easy to pick up now.

He is definitely much more playable for console, and I believe one of the most fun for both sides now.

Agreed. I saw that on the PTB as well. You cannot do the exact same things against him anymore. You can however use his new weaknesses against him. When in overdrive he is so fast, that he cannot adjust when you try to juke him. He also can't curve as tight as he normally would. When he isn't in overdrive you can still mind game him. Is he going to curve wide or close? Make the right prediction and he will not hit you.
I played against 2 Billys today and while I wasn't doing amazing against the first (made too many mistakes), I could play pretty well around the second once I reached some decent structures / loops. People will need a bit of time to adjust but I am 100% certain new Billy is not overpowered. Oppressive, yes. But not problematic. Although, I don't like what they've done with the Greased Throttle and Thompson Mix. I think reducing the missed chainsaw cooldown further is a risky move. It would probably be better to replace these effects with something else.
It's never too late. You can play him and just chill. Who cares, if you don't win? Just play him and eventually you'll learn to use his new kit. I need to relearn a lot of it myself (the extra speed in overdrive and the reduced charge time mess with muscle memory) but he's honestly amazing.
There's always Driftking Billy, if you really want to turn off your brain and just vibe. And he's better than ever.
I played Nurse earlier today. For the first time in months. Without perks (other than Shadowborn before the patch dropped) or addons. I still got a 3k at 3 gens with the last survivor finding hatch before me. I have never mained Nurse and I am not good with her but you can honestly stomp with every killer no matter how bad you play, if you play against survivors, that don't play good either.

It really is such a huge difference. I got my first ever 3k with him today (on Lery's with no regression perks, if you can believe that). He honestly wasn't much fun before this patch. There was a challnge with him during the anniversary tome that needed you to get a 4K. I tried half a dozen times but every game was a 0K. It was sad.
0K with the obligatory teabags at the gates will probably still be the norm for me, but I'll definitely be playing a lot more Billy games in future just because he's so much fun now.

the only ´´ultimate busted´´ thing is the missing recovery speed and the recovery addons, but he´s good tbh

I feel like most people just see billy buffs and are on massive copium that he is perfectly fine now.

There is no maybe about it. He moves faster while recovering and can recover in under ~2 seconds with those addons. Halving the % for each addon would be more than enough of an adjustment.

The craziest thing I saw in my first game against him in MacMillan, was I watched him chase a survivor left in the distance ahead of me and disappear behind the wall.
I sat repairing my gen happily, and 10 seconds later I heard his TR heading my way... he was coming not only from my right... but also behind me...
How!? How the hell does he get there without me seeing him...!?!?!?
I was running Deadline at the time, so I can only conclude he ran by in the distance with Overdrive while I was tunnelvisioned on a madness skillcheck... but it really messed me up... I genuinely jumped outta my skin when I saw him and his red light lumbering towards me xD

This is definitely not perfect...They made him absolute ez mode now. Also Thompson mix needs to go...basically no CD after missed attacks

As a Bubba main, I am extremely jealous of my chainsaw wielding brethren.
-I too would love to have no cooldown.
-I would love to have overdrive.
-I would love to not tantrum when I bump, and if I do bump, I would love to instantly be able to use my saw again.
-I would also love to be able to eat through pallets and keep my chainsaw sweep going.
-I would love to be able to zoom across the map and get someone down within the first 10 seconds of the game.
-Finally, I would love to be able to stand just outside of anti face camp, feathering my chainsaw and waiting for someone to unhook.
Billy definitely has it good right now, and we should share the love to Bubba.

He's got good mobility but that's it. Curving is absolutely demolished by just leaving the loop, so he's got no extra chase beyond backrevving. He's not that strong.

Eh hardly from busted. Despite people complaining about it i've yet to see a clip where they get downed because of it.

Billy is in a great spot now, still annoys me tho that the iri add-on that lets you rev your chainsaw faster turns you into a 110. Apart from that loving him, shadowborn basekit definitely helps him more than most killers too.

I agree it was ok to remove overheat.
However, in a single patch, removing the big negative of his power, adding a massive boost to his power in its place, AND buffing his base kit and add ons with basically zero drawbacks was way too much.
Game balance like this should be done progressively, and then see if more is needed, not all at once and just see what happens.

Its just the reverse of when they added overheat they thought he was "in a good spot" "the changes are minimal" then they added a insane drawback. Nerfed all his addons. And changed his animations in one patch to take him from top 3 to d tier.
