Respected killers?
Just curious; do you think survivors tend to respect certain killers more than others? I’ve noticed if I’m crap at trapper people T-Bag, create constant noise, and just general annoying things. But when I’m pretty crappy with another, more challenging killer like Spirit, survivors typically leave ASAP, no matter what. Or am I crazy and that’s just how the cookie crumbles?

Survivors get cocky if they have an advantage, especially if the killer is doing poorly. There are also youtubers that promote this kind of behavior; or people just find it fun (since they’re not the ones experiencing it)
Some people also don’t like to play against a challenge because it feels like it will ruin their match. I’ve seen many disconnect against certain killers or when they’re losing overall.
I had a match earlier when I was playing Trapper; there were still 5 gens left and 2 people disconnected as soon as I downed them. The other guy decided to kill himself on hook while I just let the last guy go because I understand how frustrating it must has been to have survivors like that.
It affects both sides honestly, not just killers.

Spirit is respected because you can't read her as easily, this is not the case with Freddy because his power is inherently weak. This also isnt the case with Wraith because you can actually see him kinda well and his power isn't threatening unless he's downing constantly

Survivors respect and fear the Nurse, but not much else.

Except if you’re on console. Nurse on PS4 is not commonly played bc she’s so easily juked/ran around, yet so hard to maneuver. Mad respect to any console player that tries honestly.

@kokonut Nurse is a lot harder on console, yes. But there are still players who are awesome with her. So as soon as the survivors realize the Nurse is good, she's treated with respect. Or dc's.

Survivors disconnect on legion, don't know why though, maybe because they don't want to face a killer that is countered (Ask me why and I am willing to type a paragraph on the legions counters) fairly easily

For my part I respect killers, only the ones that doesnt choosed the easy way out by hard tunnel, camps and acting toxic. Make sure I will Tbag those ones at the gates :D

Maybe Nurse and Spirit, any killer that keeps them on their toes.
Most Killers are pretty weak vs a SWF and some even against solo so survivors tend to get cocky and start to taunt because they know their safe.

Nurse and Spirit are about it, everything else is taunt worthy.

Honestly, I really respect Killers when they do not use Ruin. If I have a Skill Check and there is no Ruin active, I am always thinking that the player must be really good. A Nurse without Ruin is far more scary for me than a Nurse with Ruin.

Thanks guys! I recently started playing as killer and there are certain perks I’d swear I wouldn’t try to use bc I hate them as survivor and I USED to think they were cheating, specifically NOED, (so naive and such a surv main lol) but the more I play the more I’m considering running it. Though, for some reason, survivors sometimes lurk to loot chests, cleanse totems, etc. and I’ve been able to get another kill or 2 just from them messing around in the endgame. I definitely don’t camp (unless they tea bagged me and thought they were invincible, even then it’s just a proxy/area patrolling.) and I try not to tunnel, but honestly if I’m walking around and I find you first, unlucky friend.
