    My only theory is that they somehow couldnt make the modifier work in dream world.

    Apparently his Dream World effect conflicted with the modifier. But it is really sad we don't get to play our main, because this event is really fun.

    Because his power will brighten up the modifier. Not much thought into why.

    His dream world probably didn't work well with the modifier, brightening it up and possibly causing performance issues too. His dreamworld can already lower fps by a little bit normally, imagine putting it on top of this modifier.
