Yes, it is.
I would rather never play against a Hag in my life, that doesn't mean the Hag gamer should never get games. Should killers have the option blacklist perks just because they don't like them?
SM should just be ######### deleted, though.

Generally, this would result in longer queue times for everyone involved unless the survivors could vote to block three killers during the lobby. The killer would no longer be locked into the killer they started the queue as, empowering them to freely switch to a different killer as they did before.
Then the devs should probably focus on balancing those problem killers better rather than leaving them a mess after failed changes: Skull Merchant. Even if it's fun for the killer, they're bleeding players who will play against it.

Anything that bans characters to mess with queue won't ever be implemented, back in the day blocking players used to make it so you wouldn't match with them so good players and mostly nurses would have extremely long queues. So no its not coming back in any way shape or form

I'd be lying if I said that never seeing a Wraith player again would not vastly improve my DBD experience. Killer bans will never happen but it's nice to dream.

I know some survivors don't like playing against Knight, but it is not fair for me to have longer queues with him because someone else dislikes his power. I hate Ghostface, but people who play him have nothing to do with my opinions. It is not fair for them to have longer queues because of that.
Sometimes you play against a character you don't like. And that is perfectly fine.

Sure. In return; Killers can blacklist 12 perks.
Why 12? Well, there's 4 Survivors a match, and if they can each blacklist 3 Killers; That's a possible 12 Killers blocked from being used.

This used to be a thing, because of "make lobbys great again" was some sort of program that enabled QoL features on lobby based games. Back then people complained about cheaters but instead of blocking the cheaters they would block nurses. The devs talked with the owners of the program and decided to blacklist the program so people would stop killing queue times lol

Also the most used feature (checking ping) was made part of the game, then later in 2022 removed and now the only way the issue is combated is by pairing low ping players.

Then people would just complain about the other 2-3 killers they only see that they couldn’t block.
Knight, Blight, Nurse and Legion mains would never play a game again. It would just make queue times unnecessarily longer.

Honestly i would rather just block the player over the killers, had an oni carry me to hatch and close in my face and then a facecamping tombstone myers

Sure, but as a result, we have to nerf all the killers because they're currently not balanced around solo-queue.
