P100 dilemma..

So I’m 3 levels away from reaching the goal. I stopped playing this survivor because of myriad of issues around p50. I have exhausted all cakes on all other survivors and killers that I have. So today I decide to play using the cakes I have and just power through. Because of the time I play, it’s mostly people with very low p3 or less characters… and I was immediately in a lobby simulator. So many dodges. I played 10 matches, of those matches 9 killers used map offerings. Only 1 normal-ish game from a killer trying to do a challenge, 7 matches the killer brought their best build and addons, 6 stars of those matches they tunnelled out the baby survivor immediately.

Surprisingly, no teammates ever gave up on hook or dc’d. My 1 normal match was after I decided to switch to my p3 Alan. I play this time regularly, with a low prestige character purposefully and most of the time it’s very chill. I generally play a soloQ build kindred/de ja vu/windows/resilience, after a few matches today I switch to a heavy anti-tunnel/chase build that got max value most matches(dh, windows, otr, mft)

At what prestige level have you opted out of playing your main if you have stopped playing your main?

Once I hit 100 with Nea, I stopped playing her. I'll switch back to her if I feel like it. I really didn't get lobby dodged until I hit 100.

I haven't noticed a single difference when I play Meg (P100) or other Survivors, which nowadays is really just Thalita at P9

Next up on my list is P100 Trapper, almost halfway there and I doubt I'll be getting any different reactions

I don't have a P100 character yet, but I'm trying to get there. I wasn't really playing DBD when the prestige system got changed, and I took a long break shortly afterwards.

Now I just want to catch up with everyone who already finished this journey for their own mains.

This is just guess, but I think some players that I go against might be a bit surprised by my prestige level, because I main Freddy. He is already pretty rare, so I don't think people expect to find someone who spends a lot of bloodpoints on him.

The simplest solution ever, just hide prestige from the killer in lobby. How is this still not fixed after so many years?

For me personally... I don't care about prestige

Because BHVR is stubborn and they don't want to spend resources on anything except for new chapters and cosmetics

A P100 Freddy would definitely surprise me in a good way in an end game lobby 🤣, I love how you put on for him

I don't really notice as much of the P100 BS (being dodged/tunneled) as I used to, mostly because I am rarely the only P100 in any given lobby. As we go on, we're going to get to a point where having a P100 is pretty basic.

I don't use my P100 surv all as much anymore though, as being P100 makes me feel like I'm not really building toward anything with them anymore. I still use them, but mostly because I had like 400 cakes, and I put the BP I earn with them in to other characters.

It is an eternal dedication to Freddy, my friend. If I didn't abandon him when his rework dropped then I never will :)

Sir, you're a shining beacon to a few on these forums. I'd love to go against your Freddy sometime lol

    Thank you, my friend!

My current build is Corrupt Intervention, Bamboozle, Pain Res and Brutal Strength. If you see a Bloody Freddy with those perks in the trial, maybe it's me.

on that day, they absolutely did. It’s not something that is common on my daily games. I’ll get maybe 1-2 a session.

What I’ve never understood is how contradictory the community is when it comes to prestige. They will say “prestige means nothing” and then lobby dodge or hard tunnel that p100 person out. Then it’s “prestige does not equal skill” but then also acknowledge that someone with a high prestige means more hours which is the only way to “git gud” at the game. And of course theres “why am I a p2 getting versed with p50 it’s not fair” I don’t understand the point of allowing killers or other survivors see your prestige level. It only leads to unfair standards and unrealistic expectations.

I've actually been versing killers that brings rpd more often weirdly enough. Once it reached thrice in a row, I called it quits for survivor for the day

Well the the killer decides to leave the lobby most of the time BEFORE the match starts. When you sacrifice yourself on hook you ######### over your teammates in this round.

This is exactly why I only plan on going to P100 on my Killer Mains. I won't take my survivors past P25 because I play for kicks and giggles 99% of the time and don't really care. I have no desire to play with randoms who create unrealistic expectations for me and harass me if I can't meet them or make a mistake and I don't need killers targeting me because big pink number scary.

Why don't you just enter the lobby as a low prestige, then switch to the P100 at the last second?

The only time I play my P100 Meg is when everyone else in the lobby is a P100.

None of my other survivors are anywhere near above 15-20 so I can't say what my experience with killers is.

As far as playing killer, if I'm trying to pip in Iri rank so I'm scraping the battle of the barrel for any residual advantage, I usually check out of lobbies with 2 or more P60+ players. If I'm just playing for fun, I don't mind a P100 lobby.

People expect a clock callout team Eternal member when they see you are P100. Even though its roughly 110m BP which is what... 600 hours? 700? 800? There are people with 20x that amount
