HWID ban in monitor ?
I have a friend who got HWID banned while playing DBD. He gave me his old monitor that he used when he got banned. Will they ban me for using that monitor? Does the hwid ban affect the monitors?

If I'm not wrong they ban the Mac address of your PC not the other hardware attached.

monitor should be fine, just don't use any of the components of his PC like GPU/CPU/motherboard if he gives them to you

They can definitely HWID ban the monitor. Whether or not that will trigger on your account, I don't know.

Hardware bans are linked to MOBO, banning a monitor would result in multiple people being banned

So... you can't ban a monitor that at some point suffered from a hwid ban?

You can use command line utilities like DumpEDID that will show the serial number of your monitor. That is going to be unique. It's used to prevent ban evasion from MOBO swaps.
