i have a question about leatherface and camping?
How do i play as leatherface better? Also i know the devs said that camping was allowed before but now we get de ranked when we do camp near the hook. Thats what i dont under stand about camping now is it because survivors complaned about camping so now its not a good thing to do now? Also anytips on playing leatherface better cause i dont want to camp the hook even if it gets me a win? THX.....

Once you got someone down the basement, run out and stay at the 32m edge, run back down as soon as someone enters.
Monitor and Abuse just to give them a false sense of security.
BTW prepare for salt.

You're allowed to camp, but it's frowned upon. You'll derank as punishment because you're ruining the experience for someone else. As for tips, Leatherface is unfortunately a very lackluster killer. Taking advantage of open spaces and learning to turn corners while chainsawing is the best bet. If you know survivors are being altruistic, you can usually patrol hooked survivors to get some extra downs.

you shouldnt have to camp to rank up. nothing wrong with it and you wont get banned but why reward for amateur behavior if this is a killers only strategy? you can camp and get docked points but if youre good, then you can make it up w/ other strats.
tips for leatherface against a random squad is to just know your maps and learn to mindgame. watch some streamers to see how they play pallets. against a GOOD swf, then you would need the help of mori and strong build like sf+enduring combo and ruin + tracking perk. noed if you want.

Basement Bubba is the best Bubba! I love to play basement Bubba build cuz survivors will in 98% of the time cry at the end of the game, even if they escape. I LOVE SURVIVOR TEARS! And let me tell you that most of the salty teary survivors who complain use ds and adrenawin. If they cry that gives me joy

It's allowed but not encouraged. You CAN but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. It's not exploiting mechanics but it does make someone else have a miserable time.

Leatherface is a weird one. Camping does suck....but his defence is his strength. It kind of makes sense to play to that.

I think the best thing to do is pretend to leave to bait survivors into unsafe hooking or proxy camp with insidious. Face camping is for the end game if you lost lol

Basement builds are fun while still beiing useful. I play him with Iron grasp, Agitation, Mad grit, Monstorous shrine. If you get good 3 gen setup around your basement you can do fairly well even against good survivors.

Just move 16m away.. you can still camp. after 16m you won't lose emblem points.. if you see a survivor near the hook.. you can get near again, as you won't lose emblem points if there is a survivor near the hook aswell.

Simple answer: yes.
Survivor complained and the Devs try to please them.
Camping was a legal tactic from day one on, but since entitled survivor don't like it, the Devs try to punish it little by little.
And this will go on and on, always just a little step, untill killer are forced to give free unhooks and can't tunnel.
At that point all killer could as well get replaced by AI bots, because the free will how the killer wants to play is removed at that time.

Hope they listen to us or they might lose there game due to making killers soo weak and survivors stronger. Devs stop listening to survivors that are complaining. Plz
