Do you go out of your way to rescue a bot in endgame?

For survivors, someone DCs in your game and you manage to get to endgame collapse. Do you still try to save a bot that’s on hook or getting chased by the killer or do you just leave?

I must confess to saving a few. I’m all about that team work :)

One time myself and another survivor caught a bot in a pincer movement. He was trapped and just kept pointing for some reason. It was pretty funny.

If the team can still win then I will save the bot, the bots do gens and go for saves pretty well all things considered (better than some solo q players sometimes). If it's only me and the bot left then I let the bot die or help the killer kill the bot.

It's fun to role-play encouraging your bots and holding hands with them. If that's more fun, I go to rescue the bot. It's just often not the case.

I did once, to finish an unhook challenge. Another random survivor decided to join me for some reason. The bot ran straight out the exit and we died 🤣

No, I let the killer have their free kill, it's a bot not a person behind the character, so no feelings involved :)

Not during egc but otherwise I usually try to save bots because they are actually doing gens

Can't say I've ever been in a situation where there was a bot left at the end-game and there was an opportunity for me to save them. They're usually dead by then, or are the ones making the save.

When was the last time a bot came for the rescue in end-game instead of just opening the gate and leaving like a chicken-wuss?

Not really, it's a bot so it doesn't have feelings so it won't be mad at me if I don't rescue them + a rescued bot can't take hits for others with the BT and it won't be very helpful since the bot's entire focus is to just escape through the gate.

I’ve died for a bot before, but it was one of the best teammates a solo could ask for. It deserved to live.

Yes, I went out of my way to save it in endgame.

In the endgame, I treat survivors on hook the same whether they are bots or not

I'm gonna be first to die when the machines take over because I always leave the bots on hook.

    Yes sometimes lol

But it’s difficult to resist the urge to leave asap, even when human players are on hooks lol

If I actually articulated just how much I hate the bots, so much if it would be censored that you would have no clue what I was saying.

Have you got the second part of 7 that just released for the remaster yet?

  • TieBreaker
    TieBreaker Member Posts: 995

No, but my sister is playing through it when she gets time off from her hospital shifts. I just bought Tekken 8, so I'm having fun learning that at the moment. I will play it though.

The remaster on part 1 is a work of art. I need to get the second part. I hope she enjoys it, and have fun with tekken 8, there’s a lot of ppl excited about it!

I was happy with Tekken, until they patched in premium currency one month after launch. You have to buy more currency than you need to buy a single costume, so now I ain't buying anything out of spite lmao.

Thanks. I've already been called braindead several times, so I think it's going pretty well so far.

I’m guessing tekken is online in some aspect.

i hear that, the cost of skins on suicide squad is absolutely nutty too considering it’s a full price game, with dog water servers. Like you can tell it’s definitely their first time.

Some people just hate losing and need a grippy sock vacation.

I entered the game with 1 other friend. The other guy DC and bot came. Then we did 3 more gen and the power went to the exit doors. Then I was opening the door and the killer knocked the boot out and hung it in the basement. Instead of opening the door, I made the door 99%, but the other player opened the door and ran away. The killer was Bubba and he was camping the hook. We went to the shack. A friend of mine went to the hook first and saved the bot. The killer had dropped them both on the stairs. Then he took my friend first and I entered the killer shack and saved my friend with the flash bang, then I went into the basement closet. The killer took the bot and was taking it to the basement, when I saved the bot with a head. Then we started running away together and I threw a body block at the killer and the killer hit, but the killer dropped the bot right next to the exit door. Me and my friend did a heal trick to the boat and escaped with it.

    We love bots ❤️

Nah. That thing can rot on the hook.

  • Dreamnomad
    Dreamnomad Member Posts: 3,965

Nope. Bots don't have feelings. Besides, bots make zero effort to rescue other survivors once an exit gate is open. The only exception might be if I had a challenge that required rescuing a survivor on the hook and I didn't meet my quota yet. Maybe if the killer was really far from the hook and I knew I could rescue with zero risk then I might do it for the bloodpoints. But those are the only possible reasons I could think of.

It depends on the situation. If I can save him, if not, I won't sacrifice myself.

It also depends on what he did in the round. If he was only hiding because Terror Radius was there, then I'm even less keen to save him and would even sell him.

The bot just has to prove itself.

And if the killer played really dirty, then I'd rather help the bot. I wouldn't want the killer to be rewarded for it.

No I am not saving a bot in endgame. I will save them to farm them for points before end game and honestly sometimes bots can be better than the solo queue player they replaced... but I will not die to save a bot.

  • North85
    North85 Member Posts: 111

I'm solo queue, I don't even save human teammates in endgame, because more often than not, if I'm the one on the hook in endgame, I get left there. No thanks, I'll just take my 7k BP and hit of dopamine.

Before the generators are done yes. The bot can distract the Killer.

If the bot ends up on a hook after the generators are done the bot has successfully distracted the Killer. Mission accomplished; I'm out. Enjoy the BP from the bot Killer and I'll enjoy my escaping BP; win win for both sides.

If it’s an absolutely free save/killer isn’t camping the hook and is pursuing someone else so rescuing the bot is beneficial to the team as they can do things like healing me or other teammates, or if they can act as a distraction to the killer to help me or my other teammates, then yes I will save them.

If all my other non-bot teammates are safe and the killer is just defending the hook with a bot, then no I never rescue them in endgame. I just leave and usually my teammates will quickly follow.

Mid-game? Yes, they'll still be useful in some form of fashion -- for the most part.

Endgame? No, the initial player the bot was born from has already lost their points and the bot has zero use for any.

You gotta be crazy to save a bot in endgame. Or evil, if that hooked bot is the closest the killer has to a 1K.
