What Survivor do you always let escape?
We all have our favorites and sometimes we love certain Survivors so much that we can’t even bring ourselves to cause them harm in the trials. What Survivor (if any) do you have a soft spot for? Who always escapes under your watch?

The one that stops resisting or running usually admits defeat and is worthy of mercy. Of course this rule is void if he stunned or blinded you more than 2 times during the match. Also an obvious baby survivor who didn't do much during the game and clearly doesn't know how to loop.

I get that. When a Survivor runs me around the whole map I tend to form a mini friendship with them and let them go lol

I don't have a survivor escape based on their character. It's more how they were during the trial and - even then - it's moreso whether they made it to the gates or were close to the hatch when I caught them.
If the player has done well and not been a prat, and I catch them by the exit gate, for me it's clear they would die and they understand that, so thay's good enough for me. Of course, if there's a challenge at stake, then the challenge takes priority.
There are other examples, but mostly I judge my kills based on events within the trial and not the look of the character.

when i play against unexperienced players (cause mmr is a bit goofy) i always pretend that i suck at the game, with very rare cases that i just obliterate them because i´m angy with something

As a p100 yoichi main myself… I let all those little cuties go unless… I have a challenge and then I feel hella guilty and I almost always get them when I have a kill obsession challenge and they are the obsession. 😭

Always? Typically none.
The goal is to kill em and that’s what I’ll try and do.
Not to say that nobody ever gets let go, but can’t say there is a stipulation that I’ll always adhere to.
Maybe in the face of multiple dcs and someone or two sticks it out then kudos where kudos are due.

It really depends on their behavior during the trial. If they're displaying a lot of behavior that shows they've got 1-2000+ hours in the game, or doing stuff like strategic body blocks, survivor-moon walks, t-bags mid-chase, etc., then all bets are off.
Buuuuuuuut, if the survivor seems newish or is struggling, and they're wearing either of these cosmetics, they get hatch or the gate.

I usually let two go every match. I just do UNLESS I need a 4k for a challenge or achievement. Newer players and the occasional Nea (I'm a Nea main.)
