Need help!
So my house burnt down and I lost everything Tuesday. I had a ps4 and owned dbd by a disc, I have put alot of time and money into DBD and will eventually get a PS5, will I be able to buy DBD digitally on the ps5 and still have all my progress and cosmetics I have earned?

Yes your DBD save data is stored online and not on a disc/console/locally. Sorry about your house.

Yes it'll all be there as long as you use the same PS account.
It kind of weirds me out you're even asking this when your house just burnt a couple days ago. Very weird priority issue IMO but either way I wish you best with what you're going through.
I've had close family go through it as well and it's rough. Again, I wish you the best.

Dudes home burned down, I bet Dbd would be a nice way to get your mind off the bad thoughts. Sometimes sticking to a routine is a coping mechanism in a time of trouble

Basic human empathy would lead you to be more compassionate in this situation.
They just had a terrible event happen to them and are looking for a form of escapism, there's no need for judgement, let them enjoy what they want to enjoy.

I mean, there's nothing wrong with it since people handle these things differently, it just weirded me out.
My brother lost his house to a fire and he didn't touch a game for months even though he was a heavy gamer and had ample ability to. He spent a ton of time cleaning up, recovering what could be recovered, setting up a community fundraiser and trying to set up things for the future. Gaming was the last thing on his mind. Again, nothing wrong with it what OPs asking, it just weirded me out.
I've had close family go through the same thing as I posted in my story above. The casual attitude weirded me the hell out man. I wish OP all the best with what they're going through having helped my Brother go through it before. It's a really rough thing.
I know everyone handles loss differently and does different things to cope but it just felt so surreal reading it I couldn't help but comment on it.

Ok so dbd wasn't my first priority, I have done nothing but meet with insurance people, get basic necessities for my family, try to get things in order that I can at the moment and have cried alot. I was sitting in the waiting room while my son was in a appointment and figured I would just ask the question while I had a free minute there. Also there's only so much I can do in a day while sitting in a hotel room since I have no where to go while my insurance works on things.

I'm sorry I even commented about it now but it was just such a surreal thing to read having helped family go through it as well.

For the people saying he shouldn't worry about the game since his house burnt down I'm sure they will handle it fine. If they have ever played solo q then they can handle anything.
