The best moment for earning bloodpoints, they said
Compare these two screenshots:
1) Twisted Masquerade / Anniversary, 2023. If I recall correctly we had a Blood Hunt during the last week of it. That was when this screenshot was taken.
2) Blood Moon, 2024. For this match I used a Bloodshot Eye offering (before it got killswitched).
True, I did not score as much points in each category, but I think the difference speaks volumes regardless. At this rate, the next anniversary with its 108% offerings is going to outclass the Blood Moon with barely any contest :(.
Maybe now that the Bloodshot Eye is killswitched and offerings can be used again, we can get some nice results. Hopefully the Eye gets fixed soon and receive a boost to the bonus BP it provides. My mains yearn for that P100 badge!
"It basically rains blood points on our players", they said. It's high time to live up to that promise.

200% is the max reward. Even though anniversary events gave 500% and you got cakes for the whole year

It's just a bloodhunt that we have to unlock as a community. Absolutely pathetic and BHVR lied to us about BP gains.

At least raise the BP gains by 50%. Because this is depressing. This doesn't feel like an event at all. Most people seem to ignore the event stuff (which is understandable) and the BP gain is negligable even if you focus on it.

Yeah, I think that's how it works. You can also retrieve blood droplets from active basins and by hitting a survivor with a M1 or stunning the killer. As for how far these effects reach, it says that you benefit from them "anywhere in the trial grounds". So that should mean it's global.

If you're the one to create the blood zone you get a temporary bonus wherever you are. Once that wears off you have to be in the zone to benefit from it. Regardless of who set it up everyone in the zone gets to benefit, so if you as a survivor set one up the killer will benefit too if they get into it.

Yeah it's the blood rings. There's a 'blood moon boosted!' score event and if you look carefully you can see the ring edges. I do agree that it's really difficult to differentiate since all the red really starts to look samey.

I'm just gonna grind the rifts, take the cosmetics, and maybe come back when the bonus is at 200%. So disappointed.

As @Kaethela there's a big circular blood zone in that spawns in a ring around the Blood Goblet. It confused me for the challenge to get a hit in the blood zone, but I got a group of survs that were farming and so we all used that game to test the changes.
If you look at the ground you'll see the dark red bloody line and can follow it around to get an idea of the actual size of the zone it creates. If you have 2 goblets close together, then you can activate both and see where one zone ends and the other picks up. I've had two active blood zones so close that they almost overlapped their rings on Haddonfield. Idk if you can get 2 zones so close that they are on top of one another essentially.
Also Blood droplets are not specific to Surv or killer. Both sides can steal the others Blood Droplets if they are used to create a blood zone. Certain actions on like stunning killer or hitting surv can also steal their blood droplets from the other side.

So they intentionally did the math backwards? You can't use the max multiplier that will be unlocked (if ever) towards the end of the event and claim that there are huge rewards. This ######### is like scamming 101.

It doesn't have to be as much at 500%, which is only possible when all players use an anniversary cake. But it should at least be better than a regular Blood Hunt, from the start, not just building up to a regular Blood Hunt.
The community tiers should start at +100% and end at +400%.

I don't know why the devs needed to make things so complicated for this event. They really over-thought this one and now it's a disaster. Just give people cakes or whatever and we can all just play normally while getting much more BP than this "biggest BP event ever" is offering. Not to mention the fact that playing killer is much more difficult because I can't make out scratch marks from all the blood trails everywhere. I guess we haven't learned any lessons from the Busted Borgo map. Total mess.

It is appreciated. If only they had a way to give players who had played during the blood drought event time a boost to compensate. Just a suggestion lol.

Now they just need to make the offering not garbage lol. 25%? I can just run one of my 50 bloody party streamers or 250 anniversary cakes for 100+
