Is Freddy ever getting a rework?
I’m a Freddy main and we have been waiting for years since they nerfed forever Freddy and gutted his add ons. He’s officially the worst killer in the game. Last year they told us they are planning something for Freddy however we have had no communication or confirmation if that’s still the case.

Maybe. They said nearly a year ago he was on the list for some changes but he keeps getting pushed back and last we heard they are still in the ideas phase.
So we could see anything from a slight number change to a full rework anytime between now and the end of the games life.

I would love to see Freddy getting a rework, right now he is a bit stale compared to the rest of the cast

Is this true or you being sarcastic and trying to say he needs a buff before Freddy because legion is still good and has a decent kill and pick rate I haven’t played against a Freddy for MONTHS.

All we know is that he will be reworked at some point. But given that the Twins' rework was announced early 2022, my guess is, it will take at least another 2 years.

i mean i dont know how it works for licensed characters but i gues for those characters they need authoresation before they can change them and if they need to talk to the ip holder before they can change him then its a lost cause.
freddy is the only killer with no cosmetics what so ever and from what if heard the ip holder is not easy to work with

Unfortunately we don't know when our killer will receive some changes, and escape the terrible state he is currently in.
Maybe the next roadmap will give us the answer, but we probably won't see it until after the anniversary event.

You can’t unfortunately. The devs don’t normally respond to balance questions.

I think they could give him some simple number buffs before he gets his bigger rework / changes.
If they just spend few hours to go to his base kit stats and change some numbers here and there (more snares, better addon numbers, removed or lesser movement penalty, extra faster tp, etc.) would help him since lets face it there is 99% chance he won't get major changes in like 8+ months from now on.
