Why is this not bannable or even reportable? Come on BHVR!
I used a survivor pudding, every time I downed someone they DC'd not only did I get no BBQ stacks because of it but I got barely any points because survivors see our offerings and DC so that we don't get points. I am trying to grind points for when the new killer is released this was my first game and I get ######### over by some salty survivors two of which were SWF. Like come on!

It is bannable but it's done using a percentage of the matches played and dc'd in.
It's not that it's not reportable its just an automatic process so there is no need to report, reporting this just makes all the other reports take longer to get through.
Hopefully when dedi servers come along it can be changed to a new better system.

It is bannable to leave the match.. They have to do it a certain percentage of their total games.

Why'd you bother covering up your name...but then not cover it again in the chat box?

That's why ranks 10-15 aren't worth playing in. Far too many disconnections, and when you're rank 14-15 whats the downside of losing 2 pips? There isn't one.
So all the frequent disconnecters end up in those ranks and stay there, ruining it for everyone else.

I don't mind people seeing my name it was just automatic to go down the list covering them. My IGN is my Forum name so it doesn't matter either way.

But the thing is these people do it on purpose and don't get punished. You have to DC like 50% of the time to actually get banned for it. They know how many times they have done it that day but they still ruin everyone elses fun. I wish if you had a recording of someone purposefully DCing you could report it and they would get punished for it. Or simply make it so if you DC you get a 30 minute cool down until you can play your next match. If you have to DC for a genuine reason the chances are you are not going to be playing for the next half hour anyway.

What map were you playing on? Doctor on The Game = a bad time. In any case the devs should ask the question why survivors DC against certain killers and address them in place of simply banning players who want to have fun but DC against certain killers who aren't fun to play against.

yo i feel you, i used an escape cake as kate because im also grinding, and the killer was the huntress. she hooked me and i went into the second phase because she was camping. i got off (whoa) and i sprint bursted off. she immediately went after me and i died.
i got 3,000 points :( i know it's not the same but still :(

It doesn't has to be bannable, bhvr should have just implemented a mechanic to replace offerings. For example you used a pudding and 2+ DCed -> game should ask you if you still want to consume the pudding or not (and obviously you will get it refunded).
Maybe they will add it with dedicated serves, but my hope is pretty low tbh

Offerings are consumed before the trial even loads.

I wish this didn't happen. The amount of times I have used BPS as a survivor and the killer has quit because I told people in the lobby that I was using it so they could use their offerings is insane. Instead it should just not tell survivors the offerings played and vice versa. DC's should have a cooldown in my opinion you DC you can't play for 30 minutes or something.

Tbh I get how this is frustrating but there is a few killers that take like no skill to find people and take the "hiding" aspect out of the game. I play both sides frequently and I dont use doctor or wraith because people frequently DC. I'm not suggesting using a different killer I'm just saying. Rank should also have a reward system to make you want to tough out games and rank up but they dont so always playing low level killers is easier, its weak and sad but it is easier.

Yeah this has to change imo, I really don't understand why they still haven't changed that.

@The_Crusader It also happens a lot in the red ranks. Not all 4 survs, but 1 surv dc'ing in the beginning is enough to ruin the entire match.
I don't understand how people can dc so often without facing consequences.
