Opinions on Lag-switching, and possible stories?
Literally just got into a game with a lag switcher. And NO he didn't just have bad wifi, it was obvious he was lag-switching. We played on Rotten Fields (The worst map for this probably) and the lag-switcher was a hillbilly. At first I just worked on a gen, found out he had Ruin and went to search for the totem, however while this was happening he was chasing another survivor and then it happened. I lagged backwards and the survivor being chased (who was injured btw) was all of a sudden against the wall and was being picked up. At first I was just thinking it was bad wifi or something. But then it happened again, to another survivor who was then hooked into the basement. This is where it all went downhill ( And I also started recording). The survivor who was 1st hooked ended up saving the the 2nd hooked survivor however, Mr. Lag-switching Billy lag switched again! both of the survivor ended up being downed and hooked in the basement, putting them both into the struggle state. I went to the Killer Shack to try and rescue the survivor since they were almost about to die. But then he just happened to come out the killer shack and walk toward me. Now I was in the corn field trying to hide, and at first he didn't see me, but then he came into my direction and guess what happened. He lag-switched. Shocker, I know. At first I thought he didn't see me because he just walked past me. But when he started to run a straight line towards nowhere, I knew I was dead. Literally 1 seconds after he walked past me I was downed and on his shoulder. Now the last survivor who wasn't injured tried to go into the basement to rescue the other two survivors. Now I was on the lag-switcher's shoulder and as soon as he saw the last survivor he dropped me and followed him into the basement. he managed to unhook both of the survivors and one of them hid in a locker even though the lag-switcher was right there! IDK why tbh but long story short he downed the healed survivor, got the survivor in the locker and the last survivor who managed to escape, was injured. The rest of us were on the floor he lag-switched again to get her ended up kinda working, since he messed up at first, so he picked me back up, and the last survivor tried to save me by using the pallet, however he lag-switched as soon as he picked me up causing my screen to "freeze" as all of us on the screen started to shake like their were cold, or having a seizure. I ended up being hooked, and one of the survivors used Unbreakable to get up and leave this fiasco. The rest of us ended up dying and the last survivor tried to find the hatch. And would't you know it, Mr. Lag-switching Billy was just standing there waiting for him. The survivor ended up trying to jump into the hatch however he just ended up running into the wall, because you guessed it! Lag-switching! He was instantly put onto the killer's shoulders and hooked where Mr. Lag-switching Billy smacked him (as if he already didn't have enough power) and he got a 4k. Now obviously we were pissed so me and another dude said "reported". However he just left leaving us there.
Now I don't know if you can banned or not for lag-switching, and before anyone says, "Oh, please. It was just bad wifi!" Well the fact that it happened to him so conveniently during the basement massacre of March 17, 2019, it was obvious he was lag-switching.
Now I actually got a lag-switcher before with a Leatherface on the Crotus Asylum, however he only did it twice and was a lot less annoying and abusive then the one I just got. So I kinda shook that this happened to me, since I've only seen it happen in Youtube videos.

i got called a lagswitcher yesterday, cuz my interned connection is pretty bad atm (dunno what happened, we're trying to fix it. just know that i gotta play with wifi, as the cable aint working ._.).
the lag was pretty bad, but that was the case for both sides, allowing them to dodge a fair amount of hatchet throws by teleporting around. 2 died, 2 took the hatch with a key.
in the end chat i got ######### on for "lagswitching". i told them my connection was bad, but they didnt want to hear it.
i feel like these people never saw a real lagswitcher, since there is a clear difference between lag and lagswitch: a bad wifi will result in the entire match being laggy. a lagswitcher will only have lags occur when you enter a chase with him. also, a bad wifi allows you to perform actions, there will just be a delay, while a lagswitcher will have you end up being stuck in an animation and then teleport to a hook / be downed and see the killer walk away in the distance with no lags occur anymore from that point of time.
dunno why i just shared this story, i just felt like it...
the message behind it is, that ppl should stop calling everything a lagswitch. its dumb and a lot of the times not the case.
PS: after experiencing such a lag, i didnt play anymore. im waiting for connection to work again... ;-;

When the killer is lagging badly the whole game is laggy, not only during chases.
