Another Salty Streamer post because that gets me the most comments.
I posted this in the off-topic section since most people can't handle drama about their favorite streamer but i think it was time i brought it to light, this person is a friend of the streamer that i called out in my last DBD discussion about a toxic DBD streamer. This guy even has a forum account on here as well, I think we're gonna call him SD but i ain't going to name and shame because this isn't twitter.
And i really want to @ you so people know who you are, because this right here? Saying that i am posting stuff that shows me harassing people? is a blatant lie, the streamer that i encountered when i made that discussion made it CLEAR that he was trying to grief me by Dc'ing and screwing me and 2 other people over, yet you are so blinded by the you're grudge against me that you're ignoring it. Do i Hate streamers? Yes, with a passion, But i will never in my life go out of my way to snipe and grief a streamer and then harass them in-game. Hell, most of them dodge me if they see my name anyways, and then complain about me making that post about De-ranking and then complain that i am harassing people. So to the twitch streamer that made this tweet, i want you to know something, if you think you have me beat, think again, i don't need anyones support, because every little post you make about me on twitter is going to end up here, and there ain't nothing can be done about it, because it isn't breaking a single rule on this forum. No Name and Shame, no insults, no nothing.
Oh, and this post was posted on March 1st, it is now March 18, I am only finding out about this last night by someone who follows you btw, but they will remain anon.

Even if you don't need support, you have mine, Detective. Sometimes we don't see eye to eye on things, but I still see you a valuable forum member who's opinion is just as great as anyone else's. I hope you're doing alright. :)

@Eveline Rude or not, Streamers have been getting away with a lot recently and harassing someone over it is pushing the limits. I can take them encouraging DC'ing, but when it comes to attacking the people of the community for simply playing the game, then that's where we all need to draw the line. Like I said, Johnathan and I may not see eye to eye on most things, but I will support him with something like this.

Why even post this? it is a personal issue and the forums are really no place for it, its also very easy to find out the person with a google search but I think you know that.
This is just a random person and nothing to do with BHVR posting this about you, if you have too pm a mod and see if they will do anything as this post is just going to create a lynch mob mentality.

Do you really care about whether or not a streamer understands or believes your reasons for disconnecting or playing some kind of way? Imo most dbd streamers and players in general are pebble brained nimrods and I don't take any insult I get from someone in this community seriously. You shouldn't either DJ, I feel bad for you being matched up with people you don't like or trust but at the end of the day, giving them attention by bringing up this kind of issue that you have the power to make insignificant is doing nothing more than giving them the kind of attention they need to feel important on Dead By Daylight.
I've been swf with a <15year old girl here that used to be sexually harassed by streamers from this community and one was recently arrested, she just ignored them and they made cliques that made fun of her and if they saw her on Rank 1 they would do their best to troll/grieve her into quitting or dying because they wanted her to go on their discord or streams and make comments and keep them feeling like they have some other purpose on DBD. When she ignored them for a while by deranking and sticking to swf so that they can't ruin her solo games they eventually buzzed off and left her alone because she wasn't giving them the attention they craved. I'm sure if some of them see her they will bother her, but she's no longer the target of a witch hunt where people take time out of their day to ruin hers on a game; and you shouldn't allow yourself to be a target either.

@twistedmonkey I don't think it's entirely about him. While it is aimed towards him, yes, it's still an example of what needs to be done in this community. I'm not saying all Twitch streamers are bad, but there comes a time when we need to at least stand up for those who are dealing with harassment by simply playing the game and trying to enjoy their time. That is just my thought on the matter though.. :/

This community has always been toxic but how many people have you actually seen this happen too? generally it happens to those that go onto someones stream and start calling them out and acting toxic themselves, while I dont condone this happening to them I also dont have much empathy for them as they are the ones who initiated it.
If you dont like a streamer just dont visit them but dont go running your mouth in their channel its asking for trouble.
I dont see why people get so hung up on a bunch of normal gamers because they show themselves playing games, what someone choses to do who is part of their community is also not the streamers fault, if the streamer actively does go out of their way to do it then report them to twitch and PM a mod here but an open idscussion is not the way to go, it incites a witch hunt.
There is always more than one side to every story.

Thank you Chaotic means alot, it really does. And tbh with you, i honestly don't even remember what we don't see eye to eye on.
Oh trust me i don't care, which is why i only found out about it last night when the post was originally on March 1st, i had forgotten all about this person till a follower of his brought it to my attention saying i was still a "Hot Topic" on twitter, Either way if i choose to ignore it, their will still be people targeting me and trying to make my game experience miserable. Other people in the community who noticed it didn't even bother to let me know and help me out, they just hung me out to dry, so i have to address it, i have to bring it to light, every little thing that they do, i have to bring it to the attention of the devs and the community, because this is how they act, the people that they have awarded the title of fog whisperer, who promote their game and have an audience, this is who they are behind the scenes. And i won't stop until it is brought to the attention of the devs.
Well, if you really want to know, the more the better, this streamer and a group of others have stated that i like to harass streamers and that i make their gaming expirience miserable, when it has been the other way around, some streamers have targeted me to mori me and some have dc'ed in an attempt to grief me. This is one of the most recent ones.

Unfortunately, this thread is most likely going to be locked because "muh streamerz" and "muh dollarz". Just because you broadcast yourself playing this game to the world shouldn't mean that you get to do almost anything you want and not get punished. Not only are those people giving others the wrong idea of how the game is supposed to be played, but they're also worsening the image of streamers for this game.

The last thread i made didn't get locked, This thread is not going to get locked because it isn't breaking any rules whatsoever, now if i revealed who the person who made this tweet was, then it would be locked as it is breaking one of the rules. But i am not naming or shaming this person, nor am i insulting them. So they can't do anything about it. I do however, expect to see this on their twitter, so i'll be watching out for that :D

I went ahead and looked into it, found chat logs from the matches and everything, and I can honestly say that there is nothing that we can do, or even should do in this case. You two got off on the wrong foot and decided to start some sort of grudge. If I'm honest, you are in the wrong the second you went to their Discord server to start calling them out on it. You made a conscious effort to seek them out and keep it going.
In any case, at the end of the day nobody broke any rules, and whether you realise it or not you are both doing the same thing. You are posting about it on the forums, they are posting about it on Twitter. Either of you could drop it and move on, but you're keeping it going for no reason. There's no favouritism there, nobody's getting special treatment. You can't keep adding fuel to the fire and expect it to go out.
