Map offerings should be removed
Map offerings in this game need removed.
I've just had a group bring me to dead dawg and hold me hostage for over half an hour, crouching and hiding and doing god knows what.
The most precious asset we have in our lives is time and I'm not keen on wasting mine on trash like this.

You can just report them. That's not a map offering issue. I agree they need to be removed. Just because people find the most annoying maps to spam for a whole day. They fill the bloodweb unnecessarily. And they can be used to spam bugged maps.

Agreed. Map offerings are generally brought so one side can do a cheesy YouTube strategy on an unbalanced map lol

Even if this is true, Dead Dawg is not really a map where hiding really works. It is bright as hell. And in general a killer-sided map (small and aside from the Main Building not really safe).
The problem here is that they hold you hostage. Not that they burned a Map Offering.

Not sure how you got held hostage on Dead Dawg. That's not really an issue with offerings.
I do think they should probably go, or at least be weighted differently, but this reasoning isn't it.

you can "just" report them.
aka play untill you realise what they do and then tab out search for an recording program download that install it set it up and then record atleast what was it? 5 or 10 minutes of the gameplay.

Bruh. It's the map with the thickest bushes and, as long as you're not running neon blue clothes, you become invisible by just crouching in a bush. Not to mention the brown tone of the map that already makes it so dark colors blend too well. It's literally one of the best maps for hiding

they should. really no reason to have this be a thing snymore.
let people on kill your friends pick their map like they already can, but map offerings for regular games should go or become the reverse. instead of "go to X", become "do not go to X".

Nah mate, map offerings are fine where they are. Maps keep the offering mechanic relevant. If you remove them, then the Devs might as well just fully commit to scrapping the offerings mechanic altogether since it'd be just about outdated and useless. Get rid of BP offerings, super niche offerings, and the trash offerings as well.
