Remembering Zoey - X Post

For some added context, she passed away from a complicated autoimmune disease - Nonparaneoplastic Limbic Autoimmune Encephalitis and GAD65 Stiff Person Syndrome - that she made the decision to permanently stop treatment for roughly 2 months ago due to the (incredibly extreme) side effects, and the fact that it was a temporary fix that would one day just stop working. Instead of stalling forever she decided to focus on living the rest of her life to the fullest. After that, her illness progressed incredibly quickly, and she tragically passed away April 30th, just 29 years old.

I know she was religious, so I hope she's in whatever afterlife she believed in, and I hope she can remain free from sickness forevermore. Rest in peace, Zoey Alexandria: you will never be forgotten.
