I keep getting stunned by pallets that are not even touching me.

Anyone getting this. The amount of pallets that hit me without touching me is insane. Sometimes I even take steps back before the pallet drop and I still get hit is absolutely ridiculous.

I think it's related to high fov

Just comes down to hit boxes and latency. Pallets effective range is a little big bigger than is visually represented.

Do you use high FOV? That could explain

I play at 92 FOV and some of the stuns they get are insane. I think it has to do with their ping since mine is always around 30ms

Yes, the funniest time I remember is being stunned through the doorframe of the shack on pale rose xD

How can FOV affect the pallet stun distance? Isn't it supposed to be a hitbox-size thing?

Its just the hitboxes that always been like this

Pallet wifi is a thing, everytime you get stunned you can still walk a bit toward the pallet

Not having this would make really difficult for the survivors to stun the killer most of the time

Yes, you are not the only one.

A lot, and i mean, a lot of times i predict a pallet drop, i go some steps back, i am like 1 meter from the pallet already waiting for the survivor to drop it…and i get stunned.

For some reason the hitbox the killers have its a lot bigger than it seems, it should be fixed.

With higher FOV the pallet looks further away. The actual distance is the same, but if you're used to lower FOV you get hit by pallets that look like they should be far enough not to.

Yes, tho I doubt it come from FOV. It seems more related to latency with the server : on your screen, you're out of the palet's range, but not quite yet for the server, which will have a slight delay.

It's pretty much the same for survivors when they get hit very far after vaulting a window. On their screen, they were safe, yet not for the server.

I get constantly stunned on pallets when I really shouldn't. I also get constantly hit vaulting windows or pallets when visually I shouldn't. Basically latency issues even if you have good ping.

One pallet that is absolute bs is the one in RPD, the mini loop in that room before going outside on the roof, if you try to go to the edge of the loop, going by the armchair. You are always going to get stunned because there's no space to avoid it.

In this game? Trappers traps could be bugged in a way that allows Blight to fly. Trying to look for logic in the spaghetti code is futile.

With that said I play on max FOV and I've also noticed some pallet stuns that don't look right. This has been going on for quite some time though, so I'm not sure when it started or if it really is connected to the FOV.

This is happening to me too, my FOV is 87. I was holding someone, nowhere near the pallet and I was stunned. The hitbox is really bad in this game

I might be mis-remembering, but the pallet stuns might have been like this since they made Head-On's stun range larger. I think i might be mis-remembering since from that point of time everyone would have adjusted to the new distance, but it might be that after 1 of the last few updates they might have made it bigger or something with the servers has happened with how it is interpreting player positions, as it seem's to happen multiple times a match despite Killer's positioning themselves with what seem's like a generous distance from the pallets.
