For people who play Hillbilly
Must be nice using a crutch huh?
Edit: I apologize, just that I versed 12 hillbillies in a row and I got triggered. Hillbilly mains do require some skill to an extent.

Hey check out this picture I found

Omfg, why is this the most perfect image in existence
2 -
Why is Quentin the only one locked?
1 -
When they wait about 40m from the hook, just ready to chainsaw charge over to tunnel.
Great play, fun character. Real skill.

I DONT KNOW ITS TOO PERFECT

Dwight is loading...

Just gonna leave this here
7 -
@No_Mither_No_Problem lmao, can't disagree with that.
1 -
I didn't play Hilly but watching other people play him it looks like you need to be skillful with him, steering and everything. Maybe I am wrong but I think I wouldn't perform very good with him.
6 -
Yea, cuz running pallet to pallet and teabagging is super difficult amirite? It's why I hardly see Billy at all right?
7 -
The great meme lord is using my meme! 😱 I feel honored!
1 -
At least Survivors have to hold shift and w to win
Billy only has to hold M2
2 -
I steal memes on a daily basis tbh
If anything you're unlucky
1 -
It's W and M2, and flick thank you very much. Also, can't get hit if you slam a pallet into his face. Or use debris/flick yourself. I don't recommend flicking yourselves kids, leave it to the professionals.
0 -
I tried flicking once but the chainsaw's hitbox did the work for me before i had the opportunity

My fave part of Billy is hitting a chainsaw, only to have it hit air and watch them run. You win this time Megan.
0 -
My fave part of playing Billy is chainsawing someone around a tree, through a wall, over the river and through the woods.
You know, I agree with you when I play Survivor because I actually like the idea of trying. But that's also why I don't play Billy.
1 -
I play Legun, without addons so. I'm done with Billy now that he's maxed. Billy punishes hard, that's what he does. Sniping is pretty spicy though. Always feels so good.
0 -
Man, don't you love the way Legion literally gets punished for attempting to play in a skill-based manner? That's my favorite aspect about him, the fact that when Legion's in the game, the Survivors aren't the only ones who aren't allowed to try.
0 -
I just play as if I have double cd. Use power to get the first hit, switch targets if possible. If not, fatigue, chase to M1. I play Susie so she's short, and people forget they normalized lunges, so easy hits. That and I can body block at a pallet if I play it right, and if I want points I'll double stab someone if I have pressure/don't mind the extra sprint and can't find anyone else.
0 -
I do all that as well. It’s the closest Legion can come to being actually good.
0 -
Explain how he is a crutch. He's the most balanced killer at the game imo
0 -
Of course he has a Freddy picture
All that salt from not being picked stockpiled into this post?
0 -
Of course you have a billy picture!
You’re happy this meme speaks to you. :b

Thank you, it's been an honor.

"It's not camping, I was just staring at the hook revving my chainsaw."
2 -
Nobody likes Quentin

You do need some practice to play Billy well, however compared to a vast majority of killers he takes a fucktonne less skill to get value out of his power, a lot of the "skill" to play him goes into making exceptional plays. Even a noob can jump on Billy and do well with how strong his power is. On top of that he has no speed downsides like EVERY other mobile killer or killer with map control, and doesn't even go slower than a survivor while holding a 99ed chainsaw. Even with perfect play survivors only have a 50/50 shot to luck out and dodge a chainsaw if a regular 115% speed killer gets near them.
1 -
All killers are for noobs, the survivors are for real GAyhMe4hZ and pr0s, don't you remember?
1 -
As a Billy main, I feel offended by the content of this thread.
8 -
You smell what Billy is cooking?
9 -
Ouch.
1 -
That's the issue. He definitenly needs to move slower when that chainsaw is 99%. It takes all the skill out of using him.
He's such a noob's killer.

Lulz. This is the best pic ever posted on this place.

Well, as long as there are "SwF ShOuLdN't ExIsT" threads, there's a need for Billy in the game, with all his power. EZ mode vs EZ mode.
And what are you guys talking about? Skill in this game??? The only 2 things requiring actual skill are precise nurse blinking and huntress landing hatchets.
Everything else is learning how to exploit hitboxes and map design. Look at me! I can run around tiles! Hey! I guessed where he was going! I've only played this map 1500 times!

All this talk of billy not taking skill, try playing high ranks on console. Good survivors will juke your socks off since they can move faster than you can rotate the camera.
0 -
just got killed by a billy, huh?
1 -
Hon turn up your sensetivity settings. Also billy cant turn as fast while using the chainsaw as normal?
0 -
Not to mention the "brilliant" framerate
2 -
@Carpemortum sweetie I'm already at 100%. And? They can move faster than the camera even at max sensitivity.
0 -
Here's the main issue I take with Billy:
When a Killer has high mobility and map pressure, it comes at a cost, because that is a very powerful attribute.
Hag? Her mobility and map pressure requires setting up and depends on Survivors falling for it.
Nurse? Her blinks are hard to control and put her into fatigue.
Wraith? He can't attack while cloaked.
Spirit? She can't see Survivors.
Legion? His bonus mobility is literally fake.
Billy, on the other hand, gets the highest map pressure in the game, and not only does it not have any drawbacks to it, but also has the added bonus of having CONSTANT access to the uncontested easiest-to-hit instadown of any Killer.
You can see where the problems would arise.
3 -
Not when you're simply running. I have mine at 75 and they dont walk around me without me able to follow. Unless I was stunned, am breaking a pallet, or nurse/legion exhausted.
So maybe it's a you issue.
Or maybe you mean while using the chainsaw, which is stupid because ofc you cant turn very fast. And considering you said "about playing billy. Try it and they juke you", I'm assuming that's exactly what you meant.
Or youd say killer. Not specifically billy.
Saying they can walk around you on console but not on pc, because of camera settings, is a stretch.
0 -
@Carpemortum Do you mean in a straight line? I definitely would need to see gameplay of you being able to follow survivors. Yes you can follow, but it's not exactly right on them which is what you need.
No, that doesnt even make sense lol. It ties directly into Billy's power because backrevving is a large part of what makes him so good.
It's the truth. It's especially bad at red ranks where survivors really know what they are doing.
0 -
Yes, the issue is that every single killer you named as an example of "balanced killer" is poorly designed.
0 -
Billy comes with a drawback, you just won't really notice that when playing Survivor because you're so used to it but as Billy those drawbacks are very present.
After a chainsaw sprint you'll get into a recovery cooldown of ~2 seconds in which you can't move or attack. During this short period of time Survivors can easily win additional distance to reach a pallet or window, which is often enough to turn him into a basic M1 Killer. Sprint Burst obviously makes this an even bigger drawback. During a loop, his power can't really be used.
The second drawback is that his chainsaw can very easily be juked unless you have the perfect distance to the Survivor.
- if you're too far, they can easily juke you the moment your sprint starts
- if you're too close, they can relatively easy confuse you and make you miss the chainsaw by pulling quick 360 around you
Whenever you miss a chainsaw, you get in that recovery I mentioned earlier, which is a lot more punishing than just missing a regular hit. You lose more time, you lose bloodlust and in worst case you accidentally hit a nearby objective which will stun you even longer.
Billy does require skill, it just looks very easy to control him when you watch good players but it's not always that easy. Hitting the chainsaw is ultimately only as easy as Survivors allow it to be.
During loops, knowing when to release the chainsaw and move your mouse to spin around obstacles requires perfect timing and I'm talking about miliseconds here. It's definitly not easy.
Also, what makes you think Billy has the "uncontested easiest-to-hit instadown"? Myers EW3 has aimlock with the biggest lunge in the game, you can't juke that. Leatherface can fully control his chainsaw during the sprint and you don't even have to 99%, you can just charge up and release whenever you feel like without having to keep the charge up manually while keeping track of the Survivor.
Did I already mention that I'm highly offended by the content of this thread? I know I did but I wanna throw that out once again :P

My Billy is level 15 and not only do I rarely face any of these issues, but he’s also so easy at rank 1 that I find it more entertaining and engaging to simply Tokyo drift all game than actually kill people. He’s the easiest Killer in the game.
That cooldown drawback is nonexistent, especially when compared to the drawbacks of all the mobile Killers that still have less map pressure than Billy. If you stop a chainsaw next to or even close to a Survivor, they are NOT going to get much distance on you UNLESS they can turn on an Exhaustion Perk.
Also, being an M1 Killer REALLY isn’t all that bad a lot of the time. Sure, a lot of loops are brokenly stupid, but there are so, SO many more chase situations outside of those loops where it really isn’t a big deal. If I can M1 Survivors with Legion, a 110 speed Killer, then you can do it with Billy.
No single chainsaw hit I have EVER earned has felt deserved. The hit box is so absolutely massive that it literally does the work for you. You’ll lock onto Survivors around corners, around trees, and sometimes through solid objects. If you have half-decent aim, it is literally impossible to miss. The ONLY discernible skill I could ever see coming from chainsaw instadowns is having the basic timing knowledge necessary to use it near a vault or pallet and still get the hit. Aside from that, nothing about Billy has ever felt like I ever, EVER need to try.
I genuinely feel I would be putting more skill into Rank 20 Survivor or Frank’s Mixtape Legion than Hillbilly in any given match.

Please explain to me how hitting the chainsaw is easier than hitting a basic M1 attack. Slower movement speed (the example with Legion) has absolutely no impact regarding difficulty, the only difference is that you catch up with 0,4m per second instead of 0,6m per second.
What makes you think a chase with a 110% ms killer is harder than a chase with a 115% killer? What you do is exactly the same, nothing changes regarding gameplay. But as example of Legion, you can hit people during frenzy and moonwalk them to death so the chase is effectively limited by the time it takes until they bleed out. There is no counter to that, it's straight forward math and facts.
Billy chainsaw, even if arguably still easy to hit, is still a lot more difficult than hitting basic M1 attacks.
3 -
Basic M1 attacks are easier to hit because chainsaws can be held for as long as the Survivor isn’t near a loop, and as I discussed before, the chainsaw’s hitbox is so massive to the point where locking into people when they’re behind cover is far from uncommon.
And being a 110 M1 Killer is the exact same as being a 115 M1 Killer? I’m sorry, but that 0.2 meters of difference means everything. If you want to talk straight math, 115 Killers are so called because they move 15% faster than Survivors and 110 Killers because they move 10% faster. This means that the closure rate of a 110 Killer to a running Survivor is only 66% that of a 115 Killer. The pace at which they catch up is nerfed by an entire third.
This third will lead to unsafe loops becoming safe and lunges falling short of their shots that 115 Killers would have easily landed. Even at a small distance, such a large closure rate reduction will remove harsh amounts of mindgame potential and the ability to actually outpace Survivors.
110 Killers are 110 Killers because in their current state, they need to be. With the exception of Legion because he’s garbage, every single 110 Killer would become top-tier if they were 115, even and especially if they already are top tier. If Hag was 115, a good Hag player would be without a doubt better than Nurse in all situations. If Huntress was 115, she would be overpowered. If Spirit was 115, she wouldn’t need to rely on phase-based plays nearly as much.
Being a 110 Killer absolutely makes a difference. I’m sorry, but the fact you genuinely think being a 115 M1 Killer is the same as being a 110 M1 Killer says all that needs to be said. This is why you’re a Billy main. This is why you think Billy takes skill.
