Why do I waste my freetime on this game
Arent you, especially as killer ( theyd have no game to play without us ) kind of sick of how we get treated?
Why do I spend my limited free time and money on this game just to be abused? This happens every match.
Even if you hide the chat the point is that look how this community in general treats other people for playing a videogame. You wouldnt have a game to play without the other side.
This is all without me saying anything, and getting 1 hook each on each survivor.
Do you ever take a step back and wonder, why do we bother with this?
What do I do to be treated like this every single match? Play a game?

Survivors will complain they see nothing but nurse and blight and get tunnelled.
You play a low tier killer, deliberately go for a new survivor each chase especially for the event, and get treated like trash.
I did report them, I am just starting to notice its constant, and makes me question why we even bother giving them an opponent.

I think ill have to do that and just stop saying gg wp each match. Now I think about it, have I had 1 positive experience in my 3k+ hours in end game chat?
It does show the people we play with though. Its sad.

There's a reason I have profile comments enabled for friends only. People in the DBD community are unbelievably desperate to have someone else hear their salt. Just deny them the ability.

It sucks but it's just the way it is. I have profile comments disabled and if i feel like endgame chat is going to be negative i leave as quickly as possible.

What did I do? I played a videogame and lost, and am being abused.

It's just how it is. Some people act these ways to make themselves feel better about themselves i think.
Majority of the time though i think people don't interact with each other and keep to themselves. People like this are the vocal minority i believe.1 -
Judging by constant +100% bp for survivors all the time except a few hours in the evening, the killer is by far the more popular role, so there will be no shortage of killers any time soon. So if you feel like playing as killer is too harsh for you, welcome to the survivor solo queue, and see you in a few days in one of those threads where other soloQ survivors are pondering why they even exist in this game.

Tips: hide chat and make so only friends can comment on your profile. No one will ggwp back because this community is full of prideful people that refuse to compliment the other side. I only get ggs back when they win.

Yup, taking a break from this game is always a good thing. I just wanted to let you know there is no such thing as survivor-only toxicity or vise versa, soloQ survivors will get trash from both the killer AND teammates, and it's usually more ugly than what you've had, so it's not fair to turn this into the Survivor vs Killer argument. The game has always been toxic and stressful for all players except SWFs, so it's better to avoid it completely if you don't want to get used to it.

BHVR is losing ungodly amount of money because of these primitives. Who knows how many people each of this sociopaths have chased out of the game. They will ALWAYS target newer killers and survivors with low skill. Who will then either turn into a 4k toxic nurse or uninstall and take their money elsewhere. There should be a automatic flagging system so others can opt out of being matched up with them.

It’s highly region dependent. In the US east the killer Bonus is at 100% permanently past 5pm. It’s been like that ever since its implementation. Solo Survivor isn’t bad at all, it’s only bad if winning is the only thing you care about. In which case you’ll have a bad time.

I turned of my EGC and made my Steam profile hidden because of it. Some people say it’s fun to collect nasty comments but I’m just saving people from embarrassing themselves. It’s very cringe to comment stuff like that on peoples accounts.
I also don’t spread hooks out (I always ignore one person) I slug when I have too and when I’m on the back foot I’ll start tunneling. YOU play for YOUR fun. They play for theirs. No matter what you do someone is going to be unhappy. No point in trying to please everyone.0 -

I play both sides but I hear you. I hate it when my SoloQ teammates taunt the Killer.
Turn that chat off, my friend. Just have fun.
Their MMR just rose and in due time, it will be them on the receiving end of toxic Killer talk.
Every time a toxic group escapes, I just chase them out the exit gates, up and away to be dealt with by Killers far better at the game than me.

There's alot of people with IRL inadequacies that like to talk tough online. These people would never do it to your face because they're too cowardly, so they get their power trip from behind the safety of a screen. Block your profile from public comments and don't engage with endgame chat. Just leave a gg and move on. These folks want a rise out of you and will be disappointed when you don't bite back

I've only been playing this game for about 6 months but I play on the Switch and, apart from an occasional game where all 4 survivors are in sync and using flashlights (which is just frustrating because I'm not good at countering) I have enjoyed pretty much every game I've played. I think not having chat or a headset is a big reason. Maybe turn those features off and just play the game and have fun!
