I love Chaos Shuffle
This is just an awesome modifier! Love being able to try random perks I haven't tried yet. Some as expected and some you get surprised by and underestimated its power. What do y'all think?

I find it uninteresting and uncreative. I'd rather just try out individual perks on my own in the standard game. There's really nothing new or exciting here.

It's a nice feature for those that want to try something different.

I thought I’d love it… then every game the killer secured their first down, freely tunneled and played in the most uninteresting ways. 6/7 games went that way.

I got spawned with no Perks at all just now. Not sure if it's a bug or just a low probability xD

I got no mither in one game, might as well have 0 perks

I'd enjoy it a lot more if it was just… an option. Randomise your perk loadout, one button and it selects 4 random perks you've got on that character and you can then change perks as you want.

3 games in and i am that person being tunnelled lmao

This, honestly all I want is like a "challenge" tab (not tomes) where you can give yourself a downside but get extra BP because of it.

Maybe this is me just being picky but I don't like that survivors can get the same perks as each other in a match, I'd rather everyone have completely different perks
2 -
I love the idea behind the gamemode, but every game the killer has just tunneled the first person, because the chance of DS and other anti-tunneling perks is so low. Played 7 games and only 1 of them did the killer actually try not to tunnel.
In the end, I wish it was just a feature you could do for the normal game.6 -
It's a start. But I'd much rather enjoy if it randomized character, Perks, Items/Add-ons and Offerings for a true "random" experience, and you can see what you got once you have entered the Trial.

They should've added DS as base kit for the game mode.

- for me this is the best "modifier" ever made, it should stay forever. In this mode you can really see "the true skill" of players.
my vote? 10/10… gg Devs

Yes, and pop basekit aswell
Try to play legion or freddy with fire up bitter murmur deerstalker and thrill of the hunt

2 survivors games
2 no mither in a row
Makes me wonder why the ######### this perk is still in this game

mode fun but my build useless everytime. blast mine was the best perk i got so far as survivor. Maybe i will have better luck on killer later

I've always done randomizing in DBD, which has led to a vastly improved understanding of perks and being able to get the most out of them, as well as relying more on my own wits.
It beats the boredom of the "Oh, it's a Blight! I wonder what they'll be running" regular gameplay and adds creativity, experimenting and just learning to think on a whim, rather than be static.
Basically, I love this idea is being implimented, and I hope in future they'll expand it to Characters, Items and such for future modifiers, although I'd love this to be a permanent mode in future.

It wears off quickly. After a handful of matches my team mates keep giving up. Sometimes the modifiers are great and sometimes they are not. I noticed killers do not tunnel / camp that match.

I've been wanting a feature like this for years because often times I just mess around on survivor and killer with random builds and try to get value. This has been no different, however my survivor games killers have been playing like their life is on the line, so to me survivor hasn't really been fun.. however my games as killer have been pretty chill and I'm having a blast. It's been funny seeing everyone try to get value out of their random perks.
Edit: I also wish offerings and items/addons were randomized too.

Should be fun but I keep getting horrible maps and survivors bringing BNPs and syringes, while I get Fire up and Furtive Chase :(

It'd be nice if there was some sort of BP bonus (25% per perk?) for activating each of the random perks (perks that are always on just grant the bonus).

I really wanted to enjoy this event and I was so looking forward to it (especially since it got delayed), but it's not been as fun as I'd hoped it would be. It feels like it has no match-making at all, which is surprising to me since it's still more or less just regular DBD.
Or perhaps it does and the perks that I normally bring into a trial are bigger crutches than I thought, because there's no way I can still compete with a load out of mostly useless and unfamiliar perks.
At least I've learned some things, like realising that I wouldn't touch the Killer side of the game without Lightborn and that the MMR system actually does do something after all (because if this is what the game is like without it, I don't think I'd be playing anymore).
If I could make some constructive criticisms, I'd like the match-making to be tightened up and I'd like to see map offerings, survivor items and Killer add-on choices to be totally randomised in future iterations (or maybe even disabled). I know it's not a mode to be taken seriously, but it's still not much fun to lose a dozen games in a row.

I've had Low Profile for 3 games in a row lol so much for shuffle!

Good fun, it's an easy and obvious but also completely worthwhile Modifier that I for one would hope will be returning more often or even become a mainstay.
I have often experimented with perks (at least those that are at all worth trying out), but the appeal here is that everyone is using random perks. That means you also get to see the impact some perks may have on fellow and opposing players that you otherwise rarely if ever really get to see, making it easier to gauge their value. It also creates many more unexpected interactions and situations, and trying to figure out which perks are in play becomes much more interesting and challenging. And in general there is the appeal of having to make do with whatever you get, the excitement of getting good stuff, synergetic builds, the fun factor of the comically bad stuff one can get.
What I will say is that add-ons, items and offerings should have either also been random or disabled altogether. Most people will obviously be using the strongest add-ons, items and offerings they possibly can, since they know they are unlikely to be getting the strongest of perks. It would create much more chaotic fun, the reveal on the offering screen and on loading in. Hell, in my suggestion for a Modifier of this sort I even wanted cosmetics to be randomized.

They should have called this mode: Killer Can't Use Gen Meta Go Tunnel
1 -
I love the modifier and want it to be permanent. Could use small tweaks but it removes the worry to sweat too much because not every build is meta.
2 -
From my observations, this happens when you change your killer/survivor during the queue, e.g. to spend your bloodpoints in some other character.

Would be fun.

My survivor experience just was the obvious one. Killers bringing their best addons and a map offering to get the most advantage possible. If perks are unlucky theyre going to play their "strategies" as fast as possible.
So again a modifier just shows that killer "strategies" are the most daring issue.

Would be more chaos / fun if it would give random items / addons and offerings aswell, or no at all.

I got No Mither in 3 games in a row, which was especially brutal since the item I brought along each time was a medkit, and my other perks tended to be especially useless (I got Pharmacy 2 of those 3 times, for example).
Overall, I always like the Archives where all your perks are randomized, but it can result in situations like the one above that can be really, really annoying. 3 matches in a row with No Mither is pretty frustrating, after all.

It needs to stay as a permanent option. Having the opportunity to play games where you don't see the same old meta constantly is heaven.
