The Knight is by far the worst Killer in the game...

Because at least every other Killer is in a functioning state at minimum. The Knight is so buggy, unpolished, and addon-dependent that it really should be a crime for him to even exist at this point. Contrary to popular belief but when The Knight got kill-switched way back in December for like a month, they never actually switched him back on. Guards go completely around pallets instead of through them, will sometimes randomly get stuck on map collision or nothing at all, get randomly stunned when a survivor throws down a pallet on your spirit orb, etc. Not even including his countless bugs and unreliable AI he is one of if not the most addon dependant Killer in the game. The Knight without map of the realm is just a sadder version of the Trapper because at least Trapper can still maybe get one or two survivors trapped, unlike an addonless Knight who will just have really crappy patrolling guards doing nothing.

Seriously, I know Freddy and a couple of other Killers need reworks or buffs but what about the Knight? It's been more than a year since his release and he's been all but left behind to rot, not even bothering to get the bare minimum in bug fixes.

    He is pretty bad and I agree that map of the realms and dried horse meat should be base would make him feel a lot more smoother to play

    Map of the Realm really needs to be base. I saw one youtube vid that broke down the math behind the detection rings. Survivors can always outrun the base detection ring unless you spawn it right their feet.

    My hope for him is they work on his bugs, and add map of the realm and dried horsemeat basekit.

    Literally nobody was more excited than I was for Knight to be free from jail….I loaf up my boi and his AI was worse than before he was killswitch lol all my hopes and dreams for a playable and functional Knight died then and there

    Survivors really hate playing against him though so he might not get any changes for a very long time. Not to mention his pick rate is pretty low too. He’s not a priority I’m sure. Businesses try to improve the things that affect the most amount of people first.

    It's unfortunate because Knight is so close to being a great killer they literally just need to make map basekit and let you scroll between guards and he'd be perfect.

    Being able to scroll between guards would make his power so much more fluid you'd have carnifex for pallets, assassin for chases and jailer to start chases from long range. He wouldn't be A tier or anything but he'd feel a ton better to play.

    Trapper has been considered the worst killer in the game for years and he has that ability as well. Freddy also kind of has that ability, it's just that most of the time his power is completely useless because survivors are either awake or play safe.

    The ability to play around loops, even if it's all of them does not make a killer good yet. They could bring back 7 blink Nurse with the downside that after every hit her power would be deactivated for 5 minutes. Would that not make her the worst killer in the game?

    I have a special place in my heart for Knight because before Unknown, he was my main. But even with that said, I can see that he is in a pretty rough state. I tried doing fun stuff with him and still do try to do the fun stuff, but he is inherently flawed.

    Making Map of the Realm and Dried Horsemeat/Call to Arms basekit would be a great first step, but there's more that needs to be done. One big thing is the fact that you can be pallet stunned while using power, but that's not supposed to happen. Another thing is just that the guards are too easy to counter as it is. The Assassin is the fastest one, and if I remember right, he's the same speed as the survivors. Plus, their pathing is the exact same as whatever survivor they're chasing, making them overall inefficient. To top that all off, getting their flag is easier than baby survivors like myself make it look, and so you basically get free endurance.

    He's a great killer in concept, but Knight is currently, as I said before, inherently flawed.

    They screwed up his guards' pathing. I haven't heard one person who wanted this change or who's happy with this change. That's on top of all the problems he already had, like guards never catching people.
