When your partner is gone...
I broke up with my bf yesterday. We used to play DbD together, either in SWF or in PC and PS4 at the same time. Now I can’t seem to want to play the game anymore... has any of you been thru something similar? Maybe a person that was an incentive and made you want to play more is suddenly gone, how do you deal with that?

I am really sorry to hear that. ;-(
Yes, after every hard break up it is painful to do anything that reminds you of an ex. Once I even gave up on playing piano because of it lol. It will get better eventually don't worry.

Lol, who Awesome'd this?
Anyway, best advice i can give is to just keep yourself busy.
Whether that be work or hobbies, but when you start not focusing on those is usually when people will be reminded.
And time will surely help heal as well.

You need a replacement, otherwise there will always be something missing. Sad but true.

Yeah, it’s way too recent now and I try not to think but then I go into dbd and see his account there and I’m like “damn...” and close the game.

Play Killer, that's gonna help you.
Edit: in DbD, not irl tho.

Play killer and focus on the survivor that they played as the most.

Break everything that was there's, delete there account on the PS4.
Find something to keep your mind occupied.

I had a similar situation, me and my best friend used to swf a lot. But sadly we've drifted apart since. "Dont cry because it's over, smile because it happened" -Dr. Seuss

Oh god, you were so fond of him I remember you'd talk about him a lot. It'll get better.
