Should i switch? (Onryo vs Pig)
I'm personally not a fan of the (New Meta) or just killer's used too much, i prefer the ones that aren't used as often (god forbid The Twins) as other's, (quirky Killer main) I've been using Onryo for a while, and am even close to getting her P100, and for the longest time i was under the belief that the Pig was just the worse killer, as my first use of her i didn't get a single sacrifice, which usually does happen my first use of a killer, but recently i've been using Pig, and didn't realize how much i underestimated her, I know Onryo's a weak killer, but i get many good games with her, despite this though, i need a general opinion on which is better, and which i should use more.

They're both very similar play style in what you're doing. I would say they were closer to being comparable pre her "buff" (nerf actually), which really hurt the macro game play that made her unique and fun as well as what made her similar to Onryo. You can still do that play style on Pig but it's much harder as memorizing every box spawn on every single map is a little impractical and unrealistic. It's more just a background passive slow down now which adds nothing to her enjoyment. You got a better anti loop but better doesn't mean good, it's still trash the majority of the time.
Even with those bad changes Pig is probably the closest of other killers to Onryo if you like that game play.

Think of Pig kinda like Onryo if you didn't have a teleport and couldn't see her TV's but you're still trying to micro manage them from dropping tapes or picking them up by memorizing all the TV spawn points on every single map since they aren't shown to you. Would that be doable? Yeah, kinda. Is it practical or realistic? Not really.

I think I'd rate Ambush over Demanifest as a Stealth Mechanic and Beartraps over condemned in terms of a pressure tool. Sadako has better map control because of her tp, so def keep that in mind!
Overall, I think Pig's better add-ons give her the edge, but it's up to you!

I WAS SUMMONED!!!
As someone that has played and mained Sadako since she came out and that has mained Pig for over 2000 hours, I have a pretty good understanding of both killers and their strenght levels.
Both are extremely similar. I would put them both right next to each other in upper c tier.
Both have a high strategical skill ceiling with Sadako being more lethal and Pig being more focussed on slowdown.
Pig is a lot simpler to get into but at their best, Sadako is a bit better. I main both foor the same reason. They offer unique gameplay that no other killer provides.
In the end this comes doown to what the player prefers. A more lethal secondary power or a more slowdown oriented secondary power. Pig has better chase while Sadako has very good map mobility.
Im open for any questions.

Yeah I have the same mind set. I don't like playing anything that's popular. That's one of the reasons I like Onryo, as well as that I enjoy more macro oriented killers rather than micro. Most killers these days are pushed heavily into the micro play. I just don't enjoy anti loop killers in general as the play style is all the same. She's also a completely different play style than most killers who on average I think play pretty similar. She's better than people think as well.

Pig is great. Snoot boops!

I could give my point of view... but it would be rude to step ahead of @radiantHero23 on this one 😏

still, I like thinking of running pig like running distressing, high risk, high reward, and its super satisfying getting a sacrifice with her reverse bear traps

@Blueberry I totally agree, it's just a like the idea of her being like a high risk, high reward type killer, like running DIstressing, her ambush is super useful and feels like a hybrid of hillbilly and wesker, and getting a sacrifice with her reverse bear traps are pretty satisfying

I don't perform that well with anti loop killers anyways, (or ranged killers :')…) and already have a lot of map knowledge, making use of macro plays, i've never been a huge fan of the constant use of killers as, sure, it may be fun, for maybe 2 or 3 matches, it gets repetitive, as you said, i'm just worried the Lich is going to end up falling into that micro category

i 100% agree, but i feel like pig's reverse bear traps are better then Onryo's Condemned simply because for me its so damn hard to get full condemned, compared to the pressure applied with Pig's reverse bear traps, added long with add-on's making it even better imo

also what perk set-up do you use personally for both Onryo and Pig?
