The Entity is a Spider. It would be ridiculous to add a Spider killer.

Wasn't the Entity's true form shown off in Casting of Frank Stone and she's basically a giant spider? I don't think a Spider killer is a bad idea, but the Entity is absolutely modeled after a spider beyond the limbs we see in game.

I just looked up the picture and that is not a spider. Too many legs for a start.

It's also likely that picture may be just a part of The Entity, not the whole. As mentioned before, it manifests in spikes as well as spider limbs. My guess is that this picture is a part of it. I don't believe this has been officially dubbed the Entity's true form anyway.

a spider killer is among the most requested currently (next to werewolf and vampire - which I guess will be covered with the next killer).

But the original killers we do get (like Singularity, Unknown) do cover horror niches as well and people have been asking for these kinda types.

And licenses are a big reason why this game got so popular, they might not be for you personally but there are undoubtedly many people that care about the additions.

why would it be ridiculous? That entity manifests as a spider-like form in some instances, but you could argue that Dredge is even closer (thematically) to the The Entity than a spider killer would be. A malevolent force that feeds off fear an anguish? Lore-wise, it’s very similar…

Remember, this is the same game where you can get mowed down by Bubba’s chainsaw and with a heal from your teammate and you’re back to full health. I don’t think introducing a killer which somewhat resembles the entity is all too ridiculous, all things considered.
