Wesker was nerfed last patch.
I just thought I would give a PSA that since the last update weskers hitboxes are smaller than they should be right now, his slaps over vaults are less lenient and none of this has been mentioned in the bug fixes in the upcoming patch, and based off the fact that recently plague was shadownerfed until the community outcry reversed it i can only assume this was a shadownerf or it would be in the bug fixes.
I have not seen any content creators talk about it in a video like with plague but I've heard it mentioned here and there by some weskers and a good friend of mine so I thought I would mention it so you know why wesker may seem a little easier to play against right now and a bit harder than usual to play, he is just a lot harsher with hits than he use to be.

Gotta say, I have noticed that the Wesker's I've versed recently have been narrowly missing Survivors in situations that would have been a definite hit.
I dunno if it is a shadow-nerf, a bug or what. But you're right, raising awareness of it would definitely be the way to go about finding out what is going on with Wesker right now.

I can't say anything about the hitbox changes but hits on pallets have gotten awful, more often than not I get pushed from a pallet when the survivor is vaulting instead of getting a slap.

wow another shadow nerf to a killer that never deserved to be nerfed in first place. great job bhvr.

I’ve actively slid off of survivors who were just running normally. Very strange honestly.

Noticed this too, there's been a lot more clunkiness with hits that feel that like they should connect. I've had him drop grabbed survivors in a literal open field, it's weird.
I'm they're nerfing his hindered and making it harder to tunnel infected survivors off hook, but this should be rolled back imo.

I remember back when he was grabbing people after they vaulted the pallet/window, and they said that shouldnt be happening, so they did change it to the "slap" and they made it very difficult to hit them in vault animation anyways, because now they need to be hit at the moment they start the animation. If they are mid animation you will not hit them anymore.
Which is a bit weird, because literally his M1 or most killer powers let them hit the survivors mid-vault animation the same way as their M1, even when the animation has ended but they are still in front of the window for example. With Wesker for some reason they though that it should not be possible at all, you should only hit them when they just start the animation, if 0.3 seconds have passed then you cant hit them anymore.

Some things should have definitely gotten nerfed. The tunneling encouragement through infection should have never left PTB and took way too long to get done.

thank god his hitbox was the size of a truck

Personally, i haven't noticed anything different about wesker. I'll need proof to be convinced

Damn, so is that why Weskers actually enjoyable right now. He actually has to be on the same screen as you for bound to hit lol.

Its since the UE5 update a lot of his timings have and hitboxes have changed
I've seen some of it is mentioned as seen in this video where at the start the pallet slide timings change is talked about.
Finding specifics on it is a pain because there is nobody talking about it but here is a tweet from Crombs asking if anyone else is feeling the hitbox changes.

His hitboxes are just smaller than they use to be now but because it was not a listed nerf nobody was prepared to compare them so they are just smaller and thats that.

vault slaps are weird yes, would bounce off when the survivor isn't even halfway on the other side.

Survivors can also vault the pallet right after you finish vaulting it without getting hit because his collision is too small.

Is there ever a time BHVR didn't broke wesker?
