I want to be able to play the game without the utter frustration.
i'll try to keep it short. i was taking a break for about 2 months now and i am planning to play on the anniversary event. i love dbd, i missed it, i'm not burnt out or not asking for core gameplay changes like most people do that are tired and bored of the game.
the only issue is it can get so frustrating because quite objectively flawed parts of the game aren't getting any changes for ages. these definitely aren't the only issues but they are the easiest to fix and collectively disliked among the community.
so please tell me, who would object to the removal of map offerings except users of them? who likes facing an eyrie, badham, gideon or a midwich offering? NOBODY. balance maps all you want, map offerings will always be unfair as long as maps are not different skins of the same exact layout.
my second point is just bodyblocking with bt and otr. not trying to go out of topic but otr doesn't have any business existing anymore now that ds got buffed back, but w/e, if bodyblocking with them is gone i'm more than happy.
third might be a bug as old as the game itself, killers losing collision while picking up so they practically can't block pallet drop prompt from either side.
take them as wishes for anniversary from a player that loves the game and tries their hardest to enjoy it. hopefully this gets listened and considered.
also as my last point, might be a bit late for anniversary but hopefully lower end/old set ups would be taken into consideration in the future like adding options to remove event specific visuals because game becomes literally unplayable during some performance-demanding events.

OTR is definitely dummy strong. If someone bodyboocks with BT just tunnel them out lol. BT is meant to be used to get away from a tunneling killer, if they use it to protect a teammate then just punish them for it. I do it all the time lol! You will get a lot of hate for it though😂

i hate map offerings myself alltough i run them all the time so at least i have a 50/50 with whoever else uses them. However if map offerings got completelly gutted tommorrow i would light up fireworks to celebrate it !

issue isn't otr's strength against straight tunneling let me clarify by the way, it's the fact it can be used to threaten an unhook, hover for saves and of course to bodyblock.
not saying tunneling doesn't make the game easier in majority of matches, but i don't share the idea that tunneling is some sort of ace in a killer's sleeve they can resort to in difficult situations or to "punish" survivors. besides, body blocking with bt most of the time is not a balance issue in itself but a frustration. obviously i don't want that in a video game or to play the game in certain ways out of spite.
i'm so curious what they think map offerings add to the game other than useless niche killer builds. i'll join the celebration the day they are removed, hopefully.

I agree with map offerings. I especially hate Coldwind, Autoheaven and Mcmillan'sofferings as they are already realms that you play all time.
I disagree with your take on OTR tho. If someone force you to hit him, then go after him, he is already injured. That's a two hit chase, same as if you were chasing a healthy survivor.
You can tank threw OTR, it's a way less frustrating perk to face than background player for exemple.
