Is this a Good Idea?
Just saw this in the patch notes and I'm not sure if it's a good thing, no matter what the stipulations are. This feels like a step back, plus also goes against what they want to do with Mori's:

From the recent patch notes.
"Killers with the Ivory Memento Mori Offering can Mori Survivors on the 1st Hook stage when they self-unhook at the very last second."
What do we think of this change? It doesn't seem like it'll come into play 99% of the time and it's only really useable in the event a survivor gets a late stage 4%. I suppose you could say it's the ideal counter to the Slippery Meat/Salty Lips SWF combo, but do you really see that often enough to actively choose to plan around it? Regardless, I bet it'll show up in more than a few DBD funny moments compilations.

What does that mean in the last second?

i suppose it makes for an interesting change. it adds a risk factor to a 4%. i guess the devs have a notion of adding risk to everything in this game.

doesn't that make deliverance an instant-kill?

So, if a survivor unhooks themselves a second before second stage starts, they can still get moried.
Interesting....

If used right before hitting stage two, it seems so. Wicked too, so it looks like that'll be something to look out for in lobby screens if equipped.

Initially I thought this might be a nerf to Deliverance in a SWF, but it isn't really, cause all you do is unhook a second or so sooner....
Then I thought it was something to discourage last second unhook attempts before stage 2 being something you should always do... Then I realised you can resolve this by the exact same thing, just attempt to unhook slightly sooner...
So I don't understand what it's for tbh... it almost seems like a weird gag or a goofy self imposed challenge for both sides...
For it to actually be meaningful you'd have to do something like make it "self unhooks with less than 30s before self sacrifice", but I'm not convinced that'd be a healthy direction.
Also I'd be curious how that affects multiple self unhook attempts 🤔

This as well. It's very vague. Is it jumping off literally at the last second or after a set period of time?
My concern was they eliminated the Mori system where you only needed 1 hook for a reason, so why - in any form - would they want to bring that back?

What it even changes after all, I don't understand the purpose

By now I'm convinced they put it in the wrong bracket instead of "Known issues" because this whole thing sounds like a bug.

On one hand, you need an ebony Mori in play to be able to take advantage of this. So it probably won't come into play often, which is a positive.
But then if there is one in play, does this encourage face camping to encourage the survivor to unhook themselves via anti-camp?

How would this interact with self unhooks from anti-camp

This is what I hope. I mean, sure it's rare that it would happen, but it just seems a strange change if it was intentional.

It's clearly a bug and they put in the wrong patch notes place

If this was intentional all this does is turn all killers into face camping tombstone Myers, and that’s not good at all.
