Why is no one talking about map design and balancing
why is every pallet unsafe and useless now why are maps becoming worse and worse to play on
Haddonfield
Coldwind farm
Borgo
Forgotten ruins has a pallet that spawns edge map that is a guaranteed hit no matter how you play it and is basically a dead zone on top
Yes forgotten ruins has portals but that’s a separate problem we need to address
Borgo spawns mainly unsafe pallets that you can guarantee a hit on
Coldwind has the stupid tent pallets that’s guaranteed hit
Haddonfield has to be the most insufferable map in the game when everyone complained about the rework in the feedback but they still released it anyways when are you guys gonna listen…

Every pallet being unsafe or useless is just not true.
Coldwin farm maps have a few unsafe pallets, but still a good amount of strong pallets as well. Only Rancid Abattoir suffers from too few pallets.
Borgo is perfectly balanced in my opinion, with a good mixture of safe and mindgameable pallets. No idea how that map spawns mostly unsafe pallets,.
Even Haddonfield has it's fair share of safe pallets, the problem with that map is that it doesn't spawn enough pallets for it's small size.
In general maps have just become much more balanced. Some maps are too killer sided, admittedily, but in general maps are in a good spot at the moment.

I would assume so you can't run the killer indefinitely.

Because map design has always been bad, and all your maps aren't exactly broken maps either

Haddonfield is rather killer sided, I agree with that. Too few pallets for how small the map is. However Borgo is completely balanced in my opinion. I've never seen that map having too many big deadzones, and most pallets on that map are either mindgameable or even safe.
Azarovs and Macmillan are definitely well balanced maps though, I agree with that. Although Mac millan has a few survivor sided maps as well.

Tbf I am hating the recent trend of dead end pallets being added to the game. Haddonfield is full of them now, and if the killer forces the survivor to loop the pallet in a specific direction, even if they get the stun, they're still zoned into a dead end corner on an unsafe pallet, it's so dumb.
(Edit: example pics so people actually know what I'm rambling about)

Well, that 60% target kill rate is not going to implement itself!
