Can't even finish a match as the plague.

I just bought the DLC and came back to DBD for the first time in several months (Really since about last Halloween), and I can't seem to complete a single match. I don't tunnel, I don't camp, and don't even consider myself that good of a killer in general... but people still ragequit before I even have a chance to put them on a hook.

Every single match seems to start out like this:

And ends a little something like this:

Is this the new survivor meta with the Decisive Strike nerf? It's a pretty effective way to keep me from putting them on a hook, LOL.

What's up w/ this?

I was having issues earlier playing as survivor and not being able to complete multiple matches. It would kick me from the match saying no network connection. My internet connection was just fine both times. I'm not sure if it really was something on my end or if it could be a widespread problem, but it's something to consider. Something to add is that my PC exceeds the recommended specs for Dead by Daylight.

It may be because of the rank reset. I usually get rank 1 every season and being in high rank you usually team up or go against toxic people that can't handle a loss. After the recent rank reset, rank 1s went to 16 , which is probably why you're having to deal with this. Rank 16 is a tough spot to be at rn

I just got her omg, eeee!!! I can’t wait to play a serious match with her regardless of rank or swf. I just want to have fun.

I’m also going to be taking notes in my matches (how many dcs within 10-20 matches) to see if it’s true that many people are dcing against her.

I keep hearing and seeing (YouTube) of survivors DC’ing on her about the same rate as Legion. It’s usually cause of the “annoyed” factor that survivors feel when playing against this type of killer.

    That's what I was wondering.

I got her to rank 25 already, and already have 1,000,000 BP that I could drop into trying to get her closer to 50... but she (like Legion) just feels so, well, easy...

I love the style, the animations, and even the abilities - but if everyone is going to quit before I can even get a chance to play... It's just not worth it.

The matches where people DON'T quit - the match is over before it really even starts. Especially if people cleanse themselves and then you leave all of the wells tainted so they can't heal any more.

I don't think she's AS annoying as legion (if I'm playing against her) --- but she's definitely in the same tier of annoyance.

They do it for the same reason they did it for freddy and legion, they know that if they dc enought agaisnt a killer they can get them nerfed/reworked

So they just keep doing it because it work.

Wait what? I though that if ALL the wells are tainted they automatically become clean again? Did they change that in the live build?

It might also be because survs don't know any counterplay yet, therefore consider her OP or whatev and thus the deluge of dc's. It'll probably calm down after a while.

I think they have issue with server stability right after a new killer is released. The sudden surge of players is too much. It'll settle down in a few days. Try playing during non-peak hours and see if that helps.
