Dc Penalty disabled?
Just had 3 games in a row against the same killer player (using 3 different killers but same gamer name & same load out)
All 3 games survivors brought cobblers & they brought survivor pudding
All 3 games they quit as soon as hex devour was destroyed.
Dc ban disabled? No way they load into my very next game 3 times in a row! Also thanks to that killer for essentially wasting 12 cobblers since we barely got any points in any!
Maybe in their next game they'll save their puddings too! Good luck to whoever gets them next I guess 🤷🏻♂️

I sincerely hope not. I'd hate for a surge of DCs from team mates to start rising if matches go south

I DCed a few days ago and I had the 1 minute DC-penalty for the first DC. So it should be active.

Thanks, something definitely up was 100% exact same player that DC'd 3 games in a row & while its possible I guess the next queue took over a minute to get into a lobby it definitely wasn't a long wait.
Have seen a rise in dc's this week on both sides, haven't had a whole lot of time to play due to work commitments, maybe i'll just stick with overwatch 🤷🏻♂️

Back in the day, even before the DC penalties were introduced, there was an exploit that allowed you to DC while keeping all your points and pips. Might be another one having appeared that allows to dodge the penalty. Or just another killer privilege from BHVR.

Would that be a bad thing? I'd much rather to have players DCing every other game than what usually happens with players killing themselves on hook.

Well, that's what usually happens when you try to treat a symptom without addressing the disease. Since the killer community demanded DC penalties without thinking much forward - that's what we all got, now people just die without giving the team a bot. Now they demand to remove the kobe mechanic, once again thinking they outplayed everyone, and of course once the devs implement this (and they will, since killers asked for it), it will lead to even more hilarious consequences.

I dont think it matters much, punishments for ruining the game for the other players (DCing) are way to low, i doubt no one have any respect for those.

The real question is how you manage to get the same killer three times in a row, regardless of the DC.

Yeah I'm wondering that too. With CrossPlay on the odds of that happening (legitimately) are very small.
