Best and Worst Maps for Every Killer

BloodBird
BloodBird Member Posts: 166

So this is the final version of a tier list I map ranking what was originally my opinion and is now a mixture of my own opinion and community feedback ranking the best and worst maps for all of the killers.

I will no longer be editing it any further.

The basis for these choices are how best or least effective the killer would be on a specific map when it comes to utilizing their power and potential and not taking addons into account as that would alter effectiveness map to map.

I'm curious to hear your rationale for some of these, not that I necessarily disagree. I'm most curious about your "best" pick for Trapper and Nemesis especially- what was the reasoning there?

Best for Trapper and Worst for Trapper we're mostly determined by community feedback, as was worst for Nemesis.

Coal Tower as Nemesis Best was because it's the smallest map in the game and does not have the most amazing loops, so a Nemesis can get a lot of decent value from his zombies on that map.

  • Honestly legion is supper fun on the game

Isn't Autohaven the worst for Dredge? With the least amount of lockers.

I agree with many of these but I don't think Lery's is the absolute worst for Blight, Bubba and Billy.

For Blight I'm not completely sure. Would be nice to hear the opinion of an actual Blight main on this.

But Billy and Bubba have worse maps than Lery's. Lery's is pretty terrible for them but they can still use their powers and sometimes get a hit. In my opinion Garden of Misery takes the cake for Billy. It's ridiculously stacked, has terrible collisions and that obnoxious main building. It's also overall a much stronger map than Lery's. For Bubba I'm not 100% sure. I have my problems playing him on Mother's Dwelling. You really feel his lack of map pressure there. And of course there are these terrible bushes again.

Dead dawg saloon doesn't appear once, it's best map with Midwich for most killers. Then lery's/RPD for stealth killers

and new nap nostromo is pretty good as killer , main building has one decent loop and rest of the map is unsafe/weak with dead zones in corners

Can somebody teach me please why Blood Lodge is the best map of Ghostface? I dislike this map with him.

Yea Lery’s is doable for blight. Definitely not his worst. Lots of long hallways for quick traversal, and many of the pallets are square / rectangular and flat so they can be hug teched.

I’d take Lery’s over yamaoka and swamp.

It's been over a year since I made this, so I thought I'd bump this to try and revise what people's thoughts are on the best/worst maps for killers.

Any new adjustments people thing should be made to this list either based off of new meta's, changes to killers and killer play/counter-play or even if some of the newer maps should replace any of these as bests or worsts?

Also any thoughts on the best/worst maps for Singularity, Xenomorph, Chucky, Unknown and Vecna?

Personally I'd disagree the Game is terrible for Artist - all of those pallets in straight corridors are free bird hits. Instead I'd volunteer Swamp. Its uneven elevation makes birding gens from afar a pain (without the easy cross-floor access The Game offers), so she'll end up missing gens that look roughly on the same elevation but actually aren't, get faulty information, and can't do crossmap snipes for that same reason.

I get why Huntress and Billy love Rotten Fields and hate Lery's, but I don't think Demo plays by the same rules. He doesn't have the long-range potential of the other two, he can benefit from lack of LoS via portals, and personally I find Shredding harder when there's so much room to juke in any direction.

Otherwise, most of what I'm seeing checks out, though some of the maps have changed since then.

Legion is good on either the game map or wreckers' yard. Either smaller maps are the best for them

I think playing Nurse on Lery's is worst than on RPD. You can at least memorize RPD, but Lery's is just…

It’d be nice if each stage was designed in a way that gave its home Killer some kind of small advantage.

Here is my updated version of the Tier List which now includes the 5 newest killers from Singularity to Vecna and accounts for changes to maps/killers and new maps. I have changed about half of the selections so as usual please give me your feedback on what you think might need more adjustments on any of the killers here, but I would especially love opinions on Singularity, Xenomorph, Chucky, Unknown and Vecna, outside of Vecna I don't play the other 4 really.

    Orange wind best for Huntress?

Hate it, im colourblind so i struggle to see gen outlines and surv auras on that map. Hard nope from me. Think Dead dog is better.

I know you said you're not changing it for a little bit, but I wanted to give some feedback as an Unknown enjoyer (not quite main but it's close).

I honestly think Toba is pretty good for Unknown because there's a lot of cover you can get, thus not letting survivors get the line of sight they need to Stare Down. I'd probably say that purely for the line of sight advantage, Ormond might be the worst one for Unknown, or maybe Rotten Fields.
