So I opened the game. Tome 19 ends tomorrow (*ends in 17 hrs when I looked) On the road map it shows Tome 20 on july 16.

I thought there was usually a week or 2 inbetween the closing and opening of a new tome? when 19 ends 20 opens up

So a new Tome and rift tomorrow?

Has Tome 19 really not closed yet? Huh. But yes, Tome 20 opens tomorrow according to the July roadmap they released.

I opened the game, yes the rift, tome 19 is still open.

I thought it was a bit strange to close and start a new Tome the same day. But cool I guess. I can't wait to see what new skins will be available

We've had a couple bonus XP weeks, plus shard bonuses, plus all the time people would have put in over the event.... I wonder if alot of people completed the current Rift quite early and that's why we're getting the next one straight up? I know I finished it really fast when usually I'll complete it a week or so before it ends.

Huh. I'm not complaining if there's no rift downtime - usually that's when I take a break from the game, but I'm not burnt out right now so it suits me just fine. They do seem to be moving away from having rest periods with all the double EXP events and bloodhunts; seems like there's always an event going on.

maybe they listened to feedback (*gasp*) and changed it so we don’t have a gap between rifts?

Crazy that there is no two weeks break between rift 19 and 20. I also had no clue that the rift was still open. I don't know if it's a good thing that there might be no break between the rifts because it could lower the quality of the rewards and challenges while putting more pressure on the team since they must finish it faster.

I think the time between tome releases will stay though, it’s just that rifts are longer open.

I mean, they aren’t changing anything about chapter/mid-chapter scheduling (and new rifts are tied to the mid-chapters) and as far as we know they aren’t changing the levels/number of rewards either

Was there ever any good reason to have downtime between rifts in the first place? I'm glad they're doing away with that.

Ahhh I see they increase the time of the rift. That's fair and fine. I haven't paid any attention to the rift since I finished it so quickly and when I saw this topic I was extremely surprised that it is still open and the new one opens tomorrow. But you're right the mid-chapters schedule hasn't changed.

    Thanks for the clarification

I also enjoy the 2 week down time so I can take a break.

Once I finish the rift I take a break , only do the event challenges (when available) I usually finish the rift with anywhere to 42 /50 days left. I mean they have so many events.

I feel like I play more when I have something to earn. When theres nothing to play for im blah..
