Loading into matches with bots

So I've just had a match where I loaded in as survivor with a bot on my team straight from the start. I thought this was being scrapped but if this is intended then I actually think I'm done with survivor as I don't want bots replacing actual players.

My guess is if this is intentional then survivor player numbers are that low that bots are now required to fill lobbied to keep wait times low.

    if bots are being loaded in from the start i totally believe your theory why they're doing that. i had 100% bonus on killer and i'm pretty sure it was still a longer wait than when there's no bonus and I queue survivor. people just don't want to play survivor anymore man

    if they're not loading in from the start, that means someone disconnected as the game started, in which case I would MUCH rather them just cancel the match. even if load times are long, I would much rather wait a little longer instead of having to play with a bot from the start.
