For Anyone Who Needs to Hear About Cross Progression
I had zero problems doing it and everything transferred smoothly. The only "hiccup" I had and this wasn't even a bug, it just wasn't how I saw this happening was that my Huntress, Oni, Nemesis, David, and Leon had higher prestiges on my Playstation over my Switch which had all the legacy portraits on them, Playstation didn't, and as a result I lost their legacy portraits because the wrong account transferred to the level with the legacy portrait being lower. Which, not gonna lie, that sucks because I've always thought of them as cosmetic so I should get them back, not sure if that's possible though.
Another thing that went wrong, again not a bug just me not thinking, I logged into my steam account first which oooooooh boy that was a mistake. So for me, I don't use my steam account and the equipped loadouts, cosmetics, charms, badge, and banner goes off the first platform you log into. All your cosmetics still transfer, it's simply what's equipped as far as what I'm talking about (reiterating for everyone who needs assurance on that, all my cosmetics were there, just unequipped). So now, I'm sitting here reequipping all of my builds and cosmetics because I did that. WHOOPS. There should be a disclaimer for that, if you want certain loadouts and cosmetics to be equipped the moment you log back in, to log back in on the account they're already equipped on. For all those not thinking like I was BECAUSE THAT JUST MAKES SENSE. WHY DID I THINK OTHERWISE.

Yeah mine seems to have gone okay too. I had the same issue re cosmetics and builds because i logged into my Switch first, so I guess that will keep me busy tomorrow morning lol

I'm gonna do my Cross Progression after work. So I should log onto PSN first THAN Steam to do the sync properly? I'm not seeing a hot to fo vid anywhere

It doesn't matter the order that you link them, it matters which one you open after linking them because that's when it determines the loadouts from the look of it.

Ah okay, so Ill open it on PS5 first. I don't mind reapplying builds but cosmetics would be a pain

I did that but it’s not letting me use any of the killers or survivors other than the base ones on Steam. I have everyone purchased on Xbox but it’s saying I need to unlock them on Steam again even though they have all of their correct prestige’s and cosmetics I have equipped on Xbox. I tried logging in and out but it’s not letting me access my paid dlc on Steam for some reason.

I think I will never try this process, but I think the Cross Progression is very confusing thing to do & I already have many confusions with my multiple accounts everywhere else.
So I don't want to put myself in another tricky situation where I have big chance to be mad with my own mistakes…0 -

That's a BHVR problem, dlc shouldn't be effected by cross progression at all outside of Switch. Sounds like you had one of the extremely few hiccups that actually happened. You're saying everything transferred correctly except the purchased dlc's right?

My only disapointment with it makes it useless for me. My 100% steam achievements dont turn into the platinum on playstation. I really cant be bothered doing that again.
