If we ever have a chapter that comes from an anime, would you be hyped, skeptical, or refuse to buy

I was hyped AF and literally **** bricks when AoT came out. Seeing Wall Maria in dbd was a dream come true for me.
Outside of that, I'm fine with this being all we get for anything anime.
I would love Danganronpa collab tho, a Remnants of Despair collection starring Julie could go hard, would be awesome to see Julie be the leader for once.
Parasite would be really cool, it's even from the 80s. Shinichi would basically be Ash 2.0 with the hand but sadly BHVR would likely never go back to the "fake survivor" idea but if they did, Parasyte would be the license to do it with.
The Parasite wouldn't be designed to blend in, the survivor you inhabit is just a host. That's actually 5d checkers for BHVR because now killer mains are shopping for survivor drip lol
Sadly bhvr would have to lock Licence characters but that'd still be insanely hype I'd love to split my head open Ala Demogorgon and kill people as Not Claudette

Well I made killer concepts for 3 of the upper ranks from Demon Slayer so I guess I've already put too much stock into that idea

Depends on the anime.
I think there's more leeway for me in terms of a cosmetic only crossover versus a full chapter.

I’m all for anime coming to Dbd if done right. Like, I don’t need Madara coming as a killer and Naruto and Sasuturd as Survivors. Cosplay is fine tho. (4 Claudette’s wearing Anbu masks and gear would be fire)
Give me a Goblin Slayer chapter with the final boss from season 1 as killer. Blood+ (anime film not series) with Saya as a Survivor and a chiropteran as a killer.

Sure why not. More variety in characters is always a pro.
Attack on titan was implemented pretty well, so I could absolutely see another anime being added.
I'm not that big inti anime, but from what I've heard, some go pretty dark places...

I said it before, but I think having a Junji Ito update would be cool. Maybe not a killer or survivor, but like, cosmetics referencing some of his works.

Jokes aside - if it would fit, I would not mind it. But it should be Horror, I dont really want to see that much non-Horror in the game.

I have zero interest in anime personally and it is one of those things in life where the appeal is a complete mystery to me.
That being said, I buy every chapter so I would still buy one, though I think anime is getting far too far away from horror, even if the cosmetics etc are already getting about as far from horror as possible…

Only if it would do the characters justice.
AOT is a joke in my eyes with regard to the armored titan not being 10m tall giant but a skin for a 7-8ft dude. Not remotely bringing the same feeling or image across.
But to be fair I haven't played in years and therefore never seen the skin in action and am talking subjectively out of my backside.

There'd be a certain amount of uncanniness in translating anime characters to realistic models, and that has to be navigated carefully if you want the characters to still feel like the characters. But if the property fits, sure, why not?
I just don't want action anime with mild horror elements being put into DBD. Like, I'm pretty sure I saw Fullmetal Alchemist in one of the surveys, and I adore FMA more than any anime or manga I've seen since… but that's not a horror property in the slightest. If it's actually horror, by all means, bring it in.

they already did. trickster is an anime character. players said that trickster is not horror. they have have not done a licensed anime horror. i do not see it likely. the closest they have done to adding licensed anime horror is clash of the ttians but it was only skins.
