So Scene Partner and Hardened don't work?

I thought I would try Hardened with both Scene Partner and Dramaturgy.

I know the aura reading is the same for both Scene Partner and Hardened but I'm guessing you have to scream to get the aura proc?

As for Dramaturgy…it seems like the aura reading happens on the scream but it's hard telling when it happens.

Hardened just has weird synergies with the two perks. Maybe meme?

    Yep, I had tried that combo back when the PTB first came out, and was disappointed as well. Unfortunately Hardened is going to be left behind with hundreds of other perks in the "useless" category.

    Unfortunate. Could have had a meme build with those 3 and Bardic to force myself to scream and get aura reading.

    Even if they did work together wouldn't it just make you "not scream" then reveal the aura for the same amount of time anyway, hardened would only just make it so the killer knows you don't have aura reading which assuming they change the scene partner to not require an actual scream to activate calm spirit would just do better in which case this perk wouldn't be used except if any scream effects like ultimate weapon became meta again since its just calm spirit that you have to activate in hopes you will get extra value.

    This is what I thought was supposed to happen when I tried the combo as well. I would argue it should be a bug.

    I am fine with the aura reading from Scene Partner not triggering, since the scream is worded like a pre-requisite. But the suppressed scream should absolutely trigger the aura reading from the perk Hardened.

    I think they were probably worried that an on demand wall hack that can be used mid chase every 60 seconds with no warning would be too good so they prevented them from working together.
