The real problem with Dead By Daylight Is not the Devs, but us.
The only reason why the devs do what they do now is because of us, not because of their own mind, we basically have pushed the devs to do our own bidding and not let air for them to breath to do what they want.
Past Threads and threads and new discussion I have seen so far is just many, many people complaining to the devs without and solution to fix what they are arguing about and that leads to a lot of problems, one the devs are able to know how to fix something if you just whine about it, two other people will just join in and start just whining without no real reason to and three, It just makes the community look out right bad.
Most bugs and glitches in the game in past years were discoverer by accident, and it would be told to the devs and they would fix it as best as they could, if something was unbalance, people would tell them and some sort of solution to fix it, but now that is just not the case anymore (mostly) Now we have a four sided community, survivor entitle side, killer entitle side, those who see both sides and those who don't care and want to play. With that, came to problems that started to grow more and more unstable as people on either side wanted something that could give them the benefit and a disadvantage to the other side, and now as well we have people that try to discover bugs and glitches on purpose and blame it on the devs for it and tell them they are bad without just saying "Hey devs, there is this bug and it causes this and this, can you please fix it? Thank you" But now its like "Wow LMAO DEVS your bad this game is trash" Is the game really trash? Or did you gave yourself a reason to believe that it is trash?
Now of course there are things in Dead By Daylight that do need to be fix, but that does not mean we should yell at the devs and shove it down their throat on what to fix, as well people asking for things that should maybe be saved for later and not now as it is not needed most likely, as well as making "Threats" to leave the game if they do not do something of your wishing, which really shows your child like brain and maybe how you may act in game as well. Making a game is hard enough, fixing issues in the games is harder as it needs to be discover first and reported, but after that, they need to fix it, but ironically, fixing a bug could cause a problem as such as making new bugs without knowing it until it is found, that's one of the few reasons why fixing bugs is not as simple as you think, yet we like to think that it is and we should rush the devs to fix it, as well when it comes to fixing bugs, that needs money, almost doing anything in your games, adding animations, new characters, etc, that cost money, especially when it comes to putting in licensed characters.
Wonder why some perks by survivors seem to be a little overpowered or was overpowered? Survivor main side. Wonder why Legion was created? Killer main side. Why do devs tends to put something in PTBS but after launch, they remove it? Because of both killer and survivor main sides (Mostly survivor main side) Why? Because they are worried that if it was put in live, people would complain about it and try to make it seem to like it is either overpowered or under powered and will want a nerf or buff when it doesn't need one because it is fine as it is. YES borrowed time need a rework, both saver and person on the hook get a timer? too much of a clutch. YES DS needed a rework, was overpowered and was a big clutch perk that had no counter to it before. And NOED does need a rework as well, but must be reworked in a way that still keeps its name "No one escapes Death" and has to keep its end game potential. Toxicity was created by the survivor mains, which then the killer mains adopted that and now both sides complain about it and it just goes to show how little players care about giving solution.
At this point, the devs are being toyed by the survivor side of the community because that's where their player base mostly lies at, but this does not mean we should pressure the devs to do something to your bidding and make a "Threat" to leave the game if not done so. And most important, you devs need to learn and push that fear out of losing player count because you wanted to do something that seemed nice or something by the "Fair Side" of the community asked you to put in without having to fear of the survivor main side whining and leaving because of how it didn't give them any buffs to them only, who cares if the player count just drops a little, at least it gets rid of the players who wanted things for themselves and not for others.
This game was meant to be thrilling, suspenseful, fun and yet here we are making this game out as a joke because of what we do, the devs don't make this game into a joke, we do.
We as a community need to fix ourselves, we are an unstable community and any other community would look at us as a joke, because of how divided we are and want to be, this is what we are doing to the game, this is what we are doing to the devs that are people! Not thing you can ask for because you can! They are people like you! Yet this is what we do to them.

The devs make plenty of unpopular decisions because it fits their vision of the game (or they know stats they don't tell us). I think they find a decent balance between listening to the players and not. I don't have to agree with everything they do. Seeing plenty of the ideas for "balance" that are suggested on the forums I thank god the devs don't listen to everything.

I’m just lucky we have devs like Queen who somehow manage to continue dealing with our crud. It takes a lot of will power to actually deal with our crap and I’m surprised the community managers haven’t lost their heads from our shenanigans.
@not_Queen Thank you for everything you do, btw. You don’t get a lot of credit for your job and I just thought it should be said. :)

Yeep, we always focus on the negatives rather than the positives. Being complained about DS, what did the developers do? They reworked it, but now people are complaining it's underpowered. We should remind ourselves to have fun and not care about balance TOO MUCH, we should acknowledge it but not force it in every thread.

@not_Queen is my favorite dev, thank you for dealing with us. And the other community managers of course.☺️

Yeah, I can agree that the community badgers the Devs more than necessary. I also feel bad for Cote being immortalized as the "pretty good job so far" and the "play something else" guy.

Hi, we talked to some of them, and we got ignored, and got attitude for explaining our frustrations. Gonna leave it at that. We've told them about bugs for months, and they are never fixed.
