Red glyph in 2 vs 8??
One of my absolute favourite things about 2 vs 8 is how many tome challenges I've wrapped up, new tome & old, stun killer 3 times in a game (never really had an issue but have you seen all the pallets!) Catch 6 survivors in bear traps (simple, though I am a trapper main & did it on playstation been on xbox since series x released never went back to do most old tomes) Same for hook x amount or unhook ect (cages count) list goes on & on.
Anyway new tome part 2 is out half way through it has a red glyph challenge. Anyone confirm if you can or can't get glyphs in 2 vs 8?
Litterally only played 1 game tonight so can't yet check myself, would be harder to find on a bigger map of course but i'd rather not go back to normal play until I have to personally & I wasn't remotely looking forward to 2 vs 8 yet had an absolute blast!

Thank you all 🙏🏻 much appreciated, I didn't see any reason why they wouldn't be but wanted to make sure before I wasted multiple games as the only other path on the tome is killer challenges that can't be done in 2 vs 8

2v8 is great for tome stuff; survivor side at least. Matches are quick in and out and if your challenge requires you do something like 50 chests, it doesn't hurt your team nearly as bad that you're not doing anything.
I ripped though most of the lvl 2 survivor challenges in just like and hour.
Glyphs, emblems, everything seems to be doable. It's great.

I think the only challenges that can't be done in 2v8 are any that involve basement, killers not available in 2v8, and perk specific ones. Everything else like emblems, unhooks (cage rescues are counting as unhooks), glyphs, etc. I've been able to do.

Yeah i've done several old challenges with Glyphs, (Green, pink and red) Hide in killer TR / Chase time, chests, totems, unhooks, all very easy to do in 2v8 with how chaotic it can be, tbh most people just go for gens or heals, with the ococcasional 2-3 people in cowering in corners once they hit 2 hook states. Only one's you can't do are perk related, specific killer's or basement related.

I'm not so sure. I tried doing a sacrifice during endgame collapse challenge and did not get credit. I thought this would be a good time to do these, and that maybe even survivors sacrificed by the other killer would count, but even survivors I've personally sent to their final cage didn't count.
Can anyone confirm/deny this? Also, can anyone confirm or deny that sending survivors to cages counts as hooks for the hooking challenges?
One challenge that I was able to get in this mode (and would have never been able to get in regular play) is the nurse challenge from tome 12 where you have to hit a survivor with a basic attack after hitting a survivor with a blink attack. If anyone is like me and finds controlling the nurse to be difficult this is a good way to get this challenge done because of the sheer number of survivors running around.

Haven't tried any end game challenges but sending survivors to cages does indeed count as a hook for hooking challenges. Not only that i've had the other killer cage someone & get credit for it! (Bug or not i'm not entirely sure) same with kill x amount survivors doesn't matter who kills them all count.
Basement, perk related & killers not in the game seem to be the only things not working, i've smashed through over 100 old tome challenges in 2 vs 8 already in addition to the new tome & the 2 vs 8 tome! Cant wait for this mode to come back with more killers to tick off even more!

Can confirm that the Orange Glyph works.
Although it works in a funny way. The debuff goes away when you & your teammate hook 6 Survivors, but the Challenge itself doesn't complete until you've personally hooked 6.

Sucks that the first killer challenge of the latest tome is play with 4 random perks.
