I'm surprised it took so long for us to get a killer with a fire attack

I must admit the fire spells are my least favorite thing from Castlevania's version of Dracula, but I appreciate we finally got a fire attack in the game… I've thought for years that would be interesting to have an incendiary killer one day, and noticed that through the years we got many means of hurting survivors: bladed weapons, claws, electricity, hooked chains, hatchets and throwing knives, infectious vomit, a censer, harpoon gun, fists, barbed wire (if we count Pyramid Head's mori), telekinectic powers and, more recently, a necromancy spell, and yet we never had a pyromaniacal killer who tried to burn survivors with fire. I guess it's tricky to animate it in a way that it looks good in DbD's graphics or something, but I'm glad we finally got something with Dracula's hellfire.

    so where is water attacks and wind attacks? i want to do star wars force push into trees/objects and water-pull attacks with like hindered effect imitating drowning.

    I find it unreasonably funny watching a Dwight or some other average joe survivor mess up a simple action like throwing a pallet on the wrong side in chase and then disappearing in an 8 foot tall pillar of hellfire. I keep imagining a Tom and Jerry scream and then the survivor being coated in soot afterwards.

    I'm glad we finally have some flames on the killer side after so long, Drac is a lot of fun :3

    We definitely have room for a full fire-themed killer. Imagine if their power was setting windows and pallets on fire so that survivors are injured if they vault them. Or a damage-over-time mechanic like Plague's sickness, but with flames. I hope it's an idea they try out at some point.
