New Hack?
Several times today as I was loading in there was a weird pause, I saw a strange background, and was disconnected from the match. I didn't get a penalty so I know it wasn't my internet. It was almost as if there was someone checking out my build or the map and then cancelling the game. However, I assumed that someone else was getting the penalty. NOW, playing Survivor, several times when I was about to get out through hatch or the gate, the same thing would happen at the end of the match, effectively cancelling it. It was is someone was preventing the outcome from the other side. Are they having server issues today? The timing seems very strange to me as it i s always when I'm just about to exit the game end with the Killer not getting a 4K.

ill play ina bit and tell you tomorrow if it happens to me but it might be a computer problem or it is a hack but who knows

feel like there are more hackers around again. Had a guy that I hooked fly out through the exit gate and afterwards ddos the server when all survivors were out so I didnt get any points. I know thats what they did cause they added me afterwards on steam to boast about it. Still find it weird that anticheat apprently doesnt give a damn about this stuff

Just had a match now, I was killer doing fine, had 3k then hatch opened. I closed the hatch, egc started. then last survivor tried opening gate, I walked up to them they stood there....when I mori them the game suddenly froze and said disconnected. No penalty, no internet issues. Not the first time it's happened either. Seems to be when I kill a certain player the game disconnects. Don't know if it's a hack or if the servers are having problems but like you say, timing is suspect. I even recorded the whole match.

Not related directly to what you experienced, but on the topic of hackers:
I did witness a hacker just a couple of minutes ago actually, at least I believe I did.
I was playing Ghostface on Lampkin Lane vs an Ace, and he was perfectly navigating behind building walls against me. When I say building walls, I mean the main house upstairs (near the gen), downstairs (by the kitchen I think?), and the top and basement floors of house of pain. Those were solid wide walls that are impossible to see through, capped off by a ceiling, but he was running exact opposite of my movements the entire time.
While I mostly heard his footsteps, I even witnessed him doing it when I proc'd Friends Til the End's aura reading against him a couple of times. I was undetectable via my power, so I was unsure how we was doing it.
Post-game he said it was a combination stretch res and my cloak that was letting him do it. The explanations sounded ridiculous to me, especially stretch res, given it was addressed and I'm not sure how it would help in the first place. So I'm just assuming he was a subtle hacker and reported him.

There probably are, we did just have a free weekend.
I think at this point BHVR needs to never do Free Weekends again. Ever. Because we always get an influx of hackers when they do. These sorts of hackers usually "win" so much they end up concentrated at super high MMR, or else they are concentrated at super low MMR with brand new accounts (because all their old ones keep being banned, so they just buy new ones and use them to crap on new players, as happened to me in one of my first Ghostface rounds ever). I have also had the dDOS hack done on me suspiciously the SECOND I caught and hooked a Vittorio and was starting to get my snowball going on the Game, again as Ghostface. This was probably about a year ago, it's a known old hack that keeps perennially coming back. Yes I got no points, yes it gave me the penalty (but it was only like 10 seconds because I generally don't DC from rounds on purpose, so joke's on them).
Imagine being so bad at this silly slasher tag game, you need to hack and cheat to get anywhere.
And @Beaburd yes, that's 100% a hack. Some hacking software can always reveal through Undetectable. Stretched Rez no longer exists and hasn't for a very long time. I've experienced it as Ghostface. I found the game booted me out of a match just as I was about to win relatively often during 2v8, with no matchmaking penalty.
Was definitely suspicious as it didn't once happen mid-game, always when it was down to the last 1/2 survivors and they were caught out positioned.

Again, blame the Free Weekend. BHVR really should just stop doing them, or give out a limited number of accounts that get offered for people instead. Being able to make as many as you want is out of control and too much power, and ALWAYS without fail leads to an influx of cheaters.
