Once again BEGGING

Yes please! This has killed all of my motivation to play. Some games are near impossible to play because of the ping.

Normally I'm optimistic that these types of changes will be reverted. But with how long the servers have been merged for without any updates or information on reverting the change, it really makes it hard for me to tell myself that it will be fixed soon, because I genuinely don't think it will be by this point. Might even be permanent for all we know.

Also just wanna mention that this change was never actually documented in any of the patch notes. To even be officially told about it, you'd have to email BHVR and ask "Why's the ping way higher?" and "Why am I playing with people outside my region?" and hope you get an email back

Now, I have 2 ridiculous theories about why it was undocumented.

1. I'm thinking that it's a test to see how severely server merging effects ping and how much it could reduce queue times. And maybe they will revert it and never do it again due to the extremely negative (and honestly deserved) backlash, since this is honestly the worst change they have ever made.
2. They knew how much backlash it would probably cause if people outside these regions learnt that basically half the Earth can't play this game with reasonable ping, so they made it a silent and undocumented change, that way content creators wouldn't make videos on it which would further increase backlash. This doesn't answer why they even merged them in the first place though.

Idk, I'm just trying to find ways to cope with this stupid change. Really sucks that this change happened a few weeks after I got back into the game from a year long break, because now I can't even play it since every single game gives me 150ms-300ms ping.
