This seriously sucks

Playing killer sucks, I play well like twice as a killer and now forever I'm put into this toxic game where i feel like I can't breathe.

Like if I want to try a new killer I need to CONSTANTLY play custom matches to get even used to the killer, if I even dare to play a normal match as killer I'm put into the most horrible game possible?? Like don't get me wrong playing as killer doesn't mean you have to win every match but i feel like I should have at least felt like I did something like slowed down gens enough or did good chases or even better get at least 1 kill but NOPE! can't even catch up to A survivor and gens pop off one after the other while I'm still chasing a survivor...

I haven't played killer in two months and last week decided to buy and try wesker but I couldn't even keep up with one survivor like!?

I like a challenge but not one where I constantly feel like my hearts beating out of my chest just to try and get ONE survivor dead.

    I second this...

There's alot of different killers with different abilities. I enjoy rotating amongst them. Especially with some of the buffs theyve been giving to some killers, its worth rechecking out. Ive been playing Dredge last night/this morning and am having a blast. SOME of em are so uncommon that you'll stomp ppl just because they don't know how to handle it (example...Hag).

Best stick with a killer and learn their powers otherwise your shuffling m1 killers essentially.

It's normal that you'll lose at lot at the start with a new killer, after a while you get used to the killers power and you start to win matches more often. I wouldn't recommend playing against bots for the start because they are playing really unrealistic, you won't learn to play this killer against them, it's better to suffer through the matches at the start and learn how people play against your killer.

It's pretty normal to use gens quickly, you have to preassure constantly in some way to archive a good slowdown. You get that by using regression-perks and things like tunneling, camping and slugging mostly, of course that doesn't mean you should force any of that:

If you have to choose between 2 survivors in front of you and one of them is deathhook then chase that one (of course ideally without otr, ds or other perks in that direction). That being said you shouldn't waste your time too much and search for that person, rather just take the tunnel if they want to give it to you.

If you get the chance to get someone second stage or dead because they took to long to unhook or you have 3 gens around the hook then do it, there's no reason not to. That being said you shouldn't waste your time and camp for no reason, it's more hurtful than it helps you winning.

If you get the chance to slug to end the game or at least slow it a lot then do it. If you have 3 injured people in one area and you can slug them quickly then do it there's no reason not to, even with unbreakable they can't do gens for the time being. That being said you shouldn't force it so that you lose every slug and even less if you have people deathhook between the ones on the ground.

Of course all this tactics require you to down quickly, so you should learn to use your power well. Oh and I now most people don't really like that playstyle because it's not fun to them, but I like to win and most survivors don't hold back ether so yeah.

Personally I think having the option to test killers and builds out on bots before going in a live game is really great. I think it’s exactly what someone would need with trying out a new killer. I also think if survivors had some way to practice against killer bots it would be much healthier as well, because currently there are none so you have to learn how to play against them whenever you happens to face them by chance which lead to a very, very long learning curve that results in multiple people not knowing what to do and dying really fast.

Use the bots, that’s what they’re there for. And if you come back from a long break, understand you may be a little rusty and allow yourself some time to get back in the swing of things.

Because I like upwards of 99.9% of the players find her boring? Notice how I said "boring" not difficult? Huge admittance to an eye sight issue on your end

boring = difficult because you guys don't ever think for yourselves considering other killers do what she does in a more boring and even more effective way. Shes been fine since her rework get over her already

I feel the same in other games sometimes. I'll have a bad match with a character I'm not great with, and just go back to a character I'm actually good at.

Whilst it's a natural response, you shouldn't be afraid to take some losses when trying new things. It's just part of the experience.

Well tbf I can understand his frustration to an extent since even if MMR would slowly decline if you dont play it seems absolutely confused what to do with you if you pick up a killer you never played.

When I bought unknown 1 month after its release and started playing him my first 20 matches were just SWFs with like 10k hours each, comp teams etc. Same happened with singularity or Chucky. Each time you pick up a new killer you get the feeling that you need to play yourself "down" into your skill bracket and not slowly up as you get better with the killer.

I agree with you that you shouldn't dominate or even get a kill when you pick up a new killer but you also shouldn't get completely destroyed cause you start the ranking process for that killer in the highest possible skill bracket.

Clown was one of those killers I always hated to play. Found a build I love, have fun with and I've been extremely successful with. Going to be sad when I finish his accomplishment and onto the next killer.
