Killer is borderline unplayable right now because of sound issues
Just had a Feng that was almost impossible to track, I was sure she had iron will, light footed or some perk that suppressed sound. End game came and no, nothing. Just pure bugs
Is anyone else experiencing these issues as well? I seem to be having game after game of buggy sound that makes it nearly impossible to track people/ judge the distance of survivors. It’s making playing killer really frustrating

I am and it does make Killer super frustrating. I hope it gets fixed right away.

Yeah vault notifications are really hit or miss rn. It's not unplayable, like Scott likes to claim out of frustration, but it's still not okay.

This game has had audio issue till the end of time. My favorite is when they sound like they're right next to you, the sound dims only slightly then nothing, then they vanish.

I'm having issues as well. One of the big reasons I didn't want Iron Will 100% re-introduced. It tends to spaghetti up survivor sounds across the board.

My main frustration is Flashbang. I keep walking into them because there's NO noise when survivors are dropping them round a corner or something. Very annoying.

Anyone else hearing wraith or Billy's breathing as survivor? Or am I actually losing it?

yeah sometimes hatch makes 0 sounds unless you are on top of it . This is very noticeable on indoor maps .

I'm hearing Dracula wolf noises when switching between Vamp and Bat too.
The sound is definitely broken and I mentioned this in a post before. Believe the forums told me it wasn't happening then, too… Everyone believes me now though. Go figure.

The audio has got worse an worse. I was watching old dbd vids an how much clearer stuff was now i can't even hear survivors right next to me.

survivors just more harder to hear overall right now. It kinda terrible tracking around loops at least for me

In your dreams. They've left these bugs in for years, and even made perks that replicate it just in case.

This has been a thing. For. Years.
Once upon a time, you could hear a survivor through a wall (maybe even 2!), just by hearing there footsteps. Then one day, nothing. No breathing, no foot steps, no injured sounds. Sometimes all at once they'd be missing, and sometimes just one would be. But the sound bugs of this game which affect killer were never ever solved, or even addressed. It was intentional, I'm sure. Wanna know why? Because the main survivor complaint, beneath all the lies about killer being a walk in the park every match, is that "The killer can find me, and that's bad!" Why? Why is it bad? Because they can't handle getting chased. Getting chased means them getting downed, sometimes very quickly. We're talking almost the worst chases you can possibly have, bar standing still. They haven't learned how to loop, which I can't be mad at them for, but I don't think they want to learn to loop.
There's been big advocation for "Bring back stealth play styles!" in recent years, and in a game that's increasingly competitive and loop-based, you just can't do that. It would be catering to casuals, while giving the top survivors, who will trounce killers their same caliber 9/10 times, more broken stuff to abuse. Needed to tunnel 1 guy, because that's the only way you're getting a kill that match? Oh, they have a perk which hides their aura or scratch marks or sound entirely, or the game gave them one of those for free. Who knows? And I don't like anybody not being able to rely on sound when they should. I hate that Naughty Bear, or Plague or Doctor are like dead silent while undetectable, while others are super loud to where the effect almost does nothing. I want consistency. People should be able to use their eyes and ears, especially killer.

Audio occlusion has gotten worse and just worse. It just does not play properly according to the enviroment.

The sound thing is happening in both directions. TR magnitude almost as if they have monitor and abuse, as well as the heartbeat being quiet.
Generator sounds being quiet, lullaby being too quiet..
Theres a bunch of sound issues in the bug section happening.0
