The FNAF crossover, what should we expect?
I'm expecting a full chapter because the collab seems to be the anniversary chapter for next year also this collab has been requested for years and both parties know that so I don't think BHVR or Scott would waste it on a cosmetic collab.
I'm guessing everything in this collab is gonna come from the games not movie as the copyright at the bottom of the announcement shows Scott's license and not Blumhouse or something + they used the game fnaf logo and not the movie one however I do feel like movie skins could be a possibility.
For the killer I think it's probably Springtrap because I personally think he fits most, however there are some other things they can do. (Also there's that thing about Springtrap being in the announcement image but I don't think that's intentional due to it also being there in the next collab the announced)
I'd like to see what other people think might be in this, I'm very excited for this collab and hope they make the most outta it

an indoor pizzaria map that ends up being the worst map in the game

Killer and a map probably. It'd be foolish of them to tease FNaF in the way they did and then only deliver cosmetics. Personally, I'd prefer it to just be cosmetics (I hate FNaF) but I don't see that happening.

For killer or has to be SpringTrap since he is the killer of the series. Prob the FNAF3 version since or could be somewhat a new design for him since his appearance changes with every game/movie. Weapon either a large kitchen knife, a fire axe or claws. Power maybe something to do with phantom animatronics.
A pizzeria map would have to be a hybrid in/outdoor map like Xeno, unknown or DnD map since the pizza place would be far too small to be it's own map. Could feature the 4 classic animatronics as props somewhere.
Survivor either an adult version of the 2 kids from security breach, the security girl Veronica since only 3 to ever properly been seen with a proper model or Aftons undead son w/e name is having such a big role in the series.
Lot of cosmetics potential. Hoping for a scrapped/twisted Endo skin for Dredge.
FNAF chapter has the potential to be the number 1 biggest thing for DBD so they really better not screw it up.

I hope whatever map they add is decent for both sides, I imagine it's gonna be like Badham with a Pizzeria as the main building with a parking lot and other structures around

Idk about a survivor just based on the fact that almost no security guards or anything have designs and I don't imagine they'd get a design in a not fnaf game but a killer and map are def happening

I really hope they don't mess this up, I imagine Scott is helping direct everything because he likes making sure everything is perfect, that's why the movie was in the works since 2016 because he needed it to be exactly how he wanted it

I have to agree that with a license as big as FNAF if they do anything less than at least 1 killer 1 survivor and a map than there will be a big stink about it, and will really be wasted potential.

I predict an influx of whiny threads about how “the devs don’t care about their preferred role” without any constructive input or criticism like the current children with alt accounts keep posting.
As for actual content. Meh, I’d rather not think about something that is so far off and just wait for the Devs to give us the teaser.

I really wish it was a full chapter, imagine if it was just skins and Feng and Vittorio got FNAF related skins

What if instead of making one pizzeria map they make a new realm with different locations from the games

As it always happens, dear friend.

What I expect is BHVR having to put a giant disclaimer on each piece of FNaF related content, saying "THIS IS NOT CANON" to avoid being bombarded with lore questions.

Honestly with how fnaf lore is in general there could be a way the universes could actually connect and be canon-
0 -
Don't put that thought into the universe. I had enough with them making the Tales From the Pizzaplex canon. Mind you, this series includes:
• A broken AR booth which causes the person inside to get inside a reality where everyone gets cancer and weird jello babies just exist.
• A game which reads your brainwaves to control an in-game Monty (which can move into your brain)
• Nanobots which wrap Christmas presents, and can carve tatoos into your skin from the inside on command.
• A dream sphere which is just a one big drug trip sold to kids.
• A club of FNAF x D&D kids who eat dirt and are commanded by a robot principal.
• Virtual anime servants.
And more.
Edit: Of course, I forgot the whole Mimic thing. Just to summarize, the lore is confusing enough. There is no need to make it more confusing. Plus it gives BHVR more room for creativity.

I miss when the biggest mystery was Bonnie's gender

Tbh, my biggest hope is that Springtrap doesn't end up feeling like a lot of the generic FNAF concepts I see with Hallucination Discs or Fireaxes, things he either very sparcely uses in canon in minor ways or outright doesn't have. There's a lot of uniqueness that I think could be drawn from simply attempting to adapt elements of regular FNAF gameplay over the trials, although I'd rather give Springtrap a Bite ability than a generic Jumspcare.
The map will probably be the FNAF 1 Pizzeria, with I imagine the animatronics on stage and Foxy is in his cove. As for survivor, I really can't imagine it'll be anyone but Mike, since he's confirmed to be the protagonist of about 3 games (1,4, Sister Location) and implied to be the protagonist of 3 more (2,3, Pizzeria Sim). Vanessa isn't half as popular as a character and is generally part of the games more steadily marketed towards children, so I don't think she'll get a major role.

I saw a really cool concept where he could use remnant to purchase abilities on a security tablet and some addons would change those abilities
0 -
No offense, but an ability like that would kinda be exactly what I'm talking about. Springtrap in his various forms throughout FNAF 3,6, UCN, Help Wanted, Security Breach never uses a security tablet, and remnant isn't actually in any of the FNAF games physically, it's just a background plot device mentioned a couple times that is expanded on and developed more in the books series. A power based around these abilities would be faithful to FNAF in concept, but not in execution imo. A Springtrap who suddenly pulls out a tablet mid chase wouldn't really feel right to me, regardless of whether he's canonically used one when building the Funtimes or in one of the books or something. Maybe a better way to put it would be to say that it isn't out of character for him to have one, but it wouldn't be right to make that his defining ability in game, if that makes sense.
In my opinion, a good Springtrap power would be one based around trying to adapt the literal aspects of FNAF gameplay through the DBD trial. That would likely involve a camera system, some sort of stealth ability so he could sneak up on people, and an instant down M2 so he could be a Ghostface/Myers sort of Jumpscare killer without actually having an ability called Jumpscare. There's a fair amount of fluidity in how the devs could achieve this concept, but I honestly don't think I've seen a single fan concept that hits close to the mark for me. As silly as it sounds, that kinda worries me as to how the actual chapter will go.

A rise in childish players?

Already tons of those

We already have Dnd collab where adults is less then 1% of a fandom so Fnaf doesnt change anything

Rough Concept:
Myers/Ghostface/Dredge/PigCan stalk like Myers, but also able to lean around taller obstacles to stalk like Ghostface, and is undetectable in some manner (Maybe by entering and exiting special lockers they can teleport around the map like the dredge, this resets an Undetectable state that is lost when entering chase with a survivor/using the upcoming ability). The eyes shining with more intensity as they're stalking, successfully stalking survivors builds a bar. Attacking while stalking will cause them to begin to charge an attack like the Pigs Dash. Upon fully charging (and while still holding the attack button) they will start a Pig dash with a distance based on how much bar they had. Releasing the Attack button ends the dash early and will refund part of the bar that would have been unconsumed based on distance traveled.
Survivors can spend time to barricade the special lockers, which will cause the Killer to lose the undetectable state immediately if they teleport to that locker or just cause a localized (directionally global? for SoloQ?) noise notification that lets survivors nearby know the Killer is there.

Ok but why would people use Myers Ghostface Dredge and Pig if one killer pretty much has all they're powers combined?
0 -
Because they like Myers/Ghostface/Dredge and Pig as characters/their design.
And they still have more facets to their own powers (I'm using parts of them to draw parallels/give a better mental image of how the power could be structured). Such as Dredge's Nightfall and double-back, Myers being insta-down with his power (and strong addons), pigs secondary objective/delay and on-demand Undetectable, ghostfaces crouch memeing and more frequent undetectable, smaller profile, and instadown potential.
And of course unlocking their personal perks.

True but honestly reusing powers is something I'm personally not a fan of, still a cool concept tho

If there are more/unique methods of doing it, I say go for it, this just the vibe I get from having played the first game way back when. Not sure what newer stuff could be like.

I think and hope we'll get fnaf 3 Springtrap with a Pizzeria, but I could see David King getting a Security Guard skin.
