Devs don't nerf Hillbilly's addons
He needed a nerf to his overdrive, but his addons are completely fine. They don't need a change 😉

Agreed besides lopro. The boots are not a problem at all. If they wanna increase the rarity again. So be it. But the curve isn't the most insane thing. It just makes billy fun.

he's not getting over-nerfed. over-performing mechanics are being rained in. namely his iri engraving which is received speed nerf in over-drive and spiked boots/dad boots that are resulting in hit & run m1 billy gameplay.
they also took liberty to weaken his lopros chains. personally i didn't have a problem billy's chase but that is added bonus i guess.

I barely saw anyone using engravings. And the double boots Id agree if we didn't have maps like reworked red forest. Or garden of joy. Or toba landing. Or any other map known for so much clutter it's a map salad.

Billy needs a nerf because he is overperforming, period. He'll still be fine with these changes.
What isn't fine are the Mori changes. I expect everyone will do their part to let Devs know how awful "flat BP gain of any amount" versus "being able to kill whomever I want" is. It's a straight nerf and downgrade nobody asked for or wants.
Nobody wants this version of a Mori. It promotes slugging for the 4k. It buffs slugging and nerfs a fun aspect of the game most people on both sides enjoy and love. It removes tactics from the game. Please please please just make Cypress basekit, retire it, and then add BPs to green and Iri Moris alongside letting them mori multiple people per round. Don't make all Moris ONLY give BP, let us Mori as many people as we want. It would be a massive crying shame to waste all the effort the devs have worked on for the Mori animations this way, turning Moris into yet another sweat mechanic.

Yes nerfing his turning add ons again is so unnecessary. Spiked Boots going from 45% to 30% is so extreme. Billy needs to be able to turn wbecause most maps are awful for him and filled with clutter and object hitboxes that make no sense.

Boots having a higher rarity is awful, because it means players need to spend WAY MORE bloodpoints on this character if they want to use these addons.
One of the best things about Hillbilly is I can spent a few bloodpoints, use double boots, and I feel like I have two decent addons. Raising the addon rarities means millions and millions of extra bloodpoints would need to be spent to have double boots.
And maybe this wouldn't be a problem if Hillbilly had other decent low rarity addons… but instead he has a bunch of low rarity addons with small percentage increases or decreases, that don't actually help enough to be noticeable.
It also reinforces the idea that it's ok to just make killers feel way more clunky to play. Chainsaw turning rates without boots is just awful, and feels awful and clunky. Yes, I can still do well with Hillbilly without boots, but it feels unfun and clunky, like I'm majorly fighting my chainsaw to navigate around objects, especially during overdrive.

I don’t agree with this. He’s a very strong killer without the add ons and using the turn rate add ons make it feel like there’s no counterplay against her in almost all loops in the game.

I’d say if they really want to nerf the addons make some of them base kit as compensation, with the amount of clutter they add to maps now, it would help him get around actually. If not basekit keep them as they are with upgraded rarity.

These nerfs have been long overdue. Hillbilly is busted in his current state and hopefully these changes go to live soon. Hillbilly matches will hopefully be less trash now that he's being brought in line with everyone else.
